Couple Arrested For Being Intimate Under Terrorism Laws?
Well, yesterday a was browsing through a free newspaper
either "Metro" or "Spits" can't remember which one it was, they're quite similar,. An article mentioned that 2 people where cuddling or kissing and hugging on a plane in the US, where told to stop, didn't, got arrested for it, and may now do 20 years under some terror law. *edit i checked, it was "de Telegraaf" Quote:Knuffelend stel aangeklaagd wegens terrorisme translation [free form by me.]; "Cuddling Couple accused of Terrorism" Washington- A couple of lovers has been accused of breaking the US anti-terrorism law The man and woman had cuddled on an airplane, which led to disdaining reactions from other passengers. De man put his head in the lap of his loved one. A steward interveined and repeatedly requested the couple to stop. The man reacted bent out of shape and threatened that there would be consequences if the steward would not leave them be. the steward informed authorities, who arrested the couple upon landing. The woman and man may be facing 20 year sentences. According to their lawyer the man merely wanted to to ventilate a complaint to the steward's superior about his behaviour. ----------- Anyone in the states read about this, any truth to the 20 year sentence shite? any been convicted to 20 years yet , on something as ludicrous as this? peace' standvast. If Thine I that I spy with my own little I Doeth Offend thee ; Pluck It out. |

They'll beat the rap.
The gov already defnined terrorism, and that doesn't fit the legal definition. |
