This is off-topic but I remember in '02, I was getting picked up by my mother from school, I was a kid. 9-11 wasn't too long ago and everyone was still hyped about it. Anyway, the location of my school wasnt the best area. As we drove away, I saw a black couple on the sidewalk. The lady stuck her finger up and followed it as we drove by her. She was pointing it for my mother, who wears a headscarf and is obvious that shes Muslim. My mom didnt notice, and I was in the backseat. I never told her.

While we were being brainwashed with WW2, Israel, the EU and Agenda 21, they were learning about how the US Empire has overthrown governments all over the world, false flag terror attacks, the Fed and the World Bank.

They have lived under a tyrranic regime with surveillance and traitors everywhere. They do recognize tyrrany.

They have seen what the government can and cannot do, when millions of people walk peacefully to their border and ask to be let through.

They know Communism, so they will recognize Communism in politics today. Ask them, they will admit it. Only difference is, they think it is good:)

They know a lot more about Russia and East Europe than we do. Ask them about South Ossetia and what they think about Putin. Should be interesting...

Thanks for not giving me a hard time :DYeah, it's possible to get a really good conversation about the DDR and communism if you're willing to stand a few rounds for the old boys here. An old lady in my ex's family fascinating to listen to - she's passed on now but was just a few years from 100 when she went. She had lived through the rise of the NSDAP,WW2 and creation of East Germany, the renunification..a few times I collared a member of their family for translation (she couldn't understand a word I spoke) and asked her a bunch of questions over a few games of skat.

In terms of schooling..hmm..well folk often just forget most of what is drummed into them in school anyhow apart from the conform and fear authority bit..

Hardly anyone canreally remember much of the Russian they learnt, for example.. I think everyone mentally disgarded it in subconscious rebellion when the maul fell lol

I'd say the general concensus I've found amongst the 40-50 year old working man here is a wish to return to the DDR!!

'Do you like Germany' - to play the game, you're supposed to say yes and then list somethings you like about the place and then when this cursory question and answer is completed onemay be indulged in a few historical facts about the place...this was cool for a few years, I learnt a lot about the place..

but now I try and say a little bit to assure the questioner that I am familiar with local history to an extent and that..no, I actually find a lot of things really fucked up about here - not that the UK is better..

Last time I was out hours before I started this ill considered thread, I had been drinking in a squat bar (very nice) and was invited to move on to another bar with some of the 'anarchist types' therein...all was good until some locals decided that they really wanted to try knock out an 'English' - family pride, get one back, something to tell the kids, fuck knows..anyway blows were thrown, I was not hurt, a chair was broken and I had to leave. It made me fucking angry. The cops have just recently dropped some charges against me here and the thought that I would again again have dispute with them just because some twat wanted to try and fuck up 'an Englishman' and then I have to leave because I'm the outsider as oppose to the dicks who wanted to start trouble-it got me down - hence 'fuck stupid idiot east germans'...

That was the story.

As for South Ossetia, not to sound too arrogant but I haven't heard any analysis here better than what we have had posted on Concen.
