Pyramids- Technologies Of Ancient Egypt
The Pyramids of Egypt always amazed me when i was younger. And it amazed me more when i heard that we still could not build one with the technology that we have today. I always believed that they where just burial places for the dead Pharoahs of ancient Egypt, until i read this book that a friends dad lent me called: "The Giza Power Plant : Technologies of Ancient Egypt" - by Christopher Dunn. This book definitley changed the way i think of the pyramids and has gived me more answers and understanding of why it was built. It has also changed my view on the past. This book is not just some made-up fantasy by some crazy guy, the book is pretty much based on facts taken from many different studies of the Pyramids over the Years by many different People and put together by Christopher Dunn to create his theory.
This review below summ's the book up very well:  "The author makes a good case for having solved the riddle of the purpose of the Great Pyramid. He claims the pyramid was a large acoustical device in which the technology of harmonic resonance was used to convert the earth's vibrational energies to microwave radiation. He demonstrates the fact that the chambers and passages in the pyramid were positioned with deliberate precision to optimise its acoustical properties. When the pyramid was vibrating in tune with the earth's pulse it became a coupled oscillator that could carry the transfer of power from the earth with little or no feedback, while the three smaller pyramids on the Giza plateau could have been used to help the Great Pyramid achieve the required resonance. The King's Chamber, built of igneous granite containing silicon quartz crystals, served as the power centre while the Queen's Chamber was used to generate hydrogen, the fuel that ran the plant. Certain artefacts reveal that the ancient Egyptians used advanced machining methods. The latest discoveries, including the door found in an airshaft by Gantenbrink's Upuaut robot, fits well into this power plant theory and the author also refers to the work of Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock. The text is illustrated with black and white drawings and photographs and it concludes with copious notes, a bibliography and an index. The book is well researched, well written and in my opinion the theory is plausible and ought to be investigated further." Its very intersting material. Here is the video lecture by Christopher Dunn on this subject - The Giza Power Plant:

you would be very wise indeed and also very pleased with yourself  if you looked into books from John
Michell, namely City Of Revelation and The View Over Atlantis...not flaky but brilliant . He is very well known and these texts seem to be classics which were around at the very beginning of this sort of period of pyramid interest. They most effectively cover worldwide ley system, pyramid and sacred---i hate that word -- geometric patterns hidden in monuments, ufos, the pyramid system and mathematics complete to the crystal tip atmosphere connection and so on and so on.. ( around 1972 or so ... ) ( i would link you but it may violate forum rules.. Try them @ Ama#%n As well do look for 2 further books by T.B. Pawlicki entitled How You Can Explore Higher Dimensions Of Space and Time ( hyperspacial technology and physics ) and How to Build a Flying Saucer. The latter speaks about planetary harmonics ( crazy common sense physics not new age fluff ) and the solid state communication system ( the pyramids ) which extends thru the solar system and possibly beyond .These 4 I feel are crucial reads and will blow your minds , if not turn you into gods YAY! I buy up any used copies of these i find and send them to people i like.... &Spirituality is not a child play. My words will tear apart anyone who listens to them....& &The search for reality is the most dangerous of all undertakings for it destroys the world in which you live.& - Nisargadatta Maharaj |

i really appreciate your guides of what books to read especially one's like those, which extends the understanding of how advanced past civilizations must have been and that we are not the first to advance to stages of technology we are in now, we could even be pretty far behind compared with the past civilizations technology advances and even though we have the evidence of their achievements (and we call ourselves advanced!) , we are not able to understand how they used their creations or created them for that matter.. Plenty of information has been lost over the years, and only now are we placing certain parts together.. we have even been made to believe certain things in the past that are not true, and we're only learning about the real truth (of ancient events) nowadays....
I think it was Alexander the Great that said "History is written by those who Won" |

I have some interesting info on my site relating to ancient cultures. Michael Tsarion has some very interesting lectures which you may enjoy in the Occult & NWO section, including: Dark Side Of The Sun, The Origins Of Evil and 2012 - The Future Of Mankind. They relate back to the ancient technologies etc. May not be your cup of tea, but thought I would offer it up.

If you do a search on yahoo for E Raymond Capt, You will find that he has books on the Pyramids. But his books deal with the pyramids being the Bible in stone. The book of Isaiah 19:19 tells how God wanted a church built in the midst of Egypt, right where the great pyramid of giza is. This book is totally cool non-buzz kill kind of stuff

hi you guys,
came across this thread via google, and appreciate the references, so thought i'd add one to the list -- shamanic wisdom in the pyramid texts: the mystical tradition of ancient egypt by jeremy naydler (inner traditions, 2005). pretty scholarly in style, but rigourously counters the prevalent thesis by academics and most egyptologists that the pyramid texts are about funerary rites. instead, naydler argues that the texts reveal the shamanic experiences and orientations of the egyptians (which links them with many other ancient cultures, such as the incas, mayans, and aztecs). veronica |
