Project Phoenix Time Experiment?
:confused: Just wanted to know who has any decent info on this Project Phoenix business , to do with time travel as I recall . I have had trouble locating much of anything worthwhile. Help us all out here please.:cry:

This is just off the top of my head, but Phoenix was talked about alot by Al Bielek and Preston Nichols;

It was part of Montauk, or vice-versa(at least, acording to them). It was also the name of a

project in Vietnam, where US agents would assassinate enemy agents. That's what PBS says it was, anyway.

Starting on pages 112 of Jim Keith's "the Encyclopedia of Mind Control' there is some mention of an Operation

Phoenix. Names like the infamous Louis Jolyon West are mentioned, along with the National Mental Health

Institute, and of course, Tavistock. This book was just up on the trkr. Good Luck.

Typed Montauk and Phoenix into google and got zillions of hits.

The problem I've always had with time travel reports... besides the obvious paradoxes involved... is that if you even wen't back in time a few minutes, you would physically be either in outer space or inside of the earth's crust. This planet is spinning on it's own axis, revolving around the sun AND the galactic core and also expanding outward at a phenomenal speed. A few minutes ago, 'here' was very very far away physically.

Thats a really good theory.
But I was thinking about something today with the gravitational pulls on planets and the sun, Take the Earth and the moon for instance, we all know the Earth spins around the sun due to gravity, so why is the moon caught in Earth's gravitational pull while the sun obviously has a bigger pull.

Right now there is some contention about gravity and its properties. Still, I think for your question the inverse square law would be applied. In essense... the firther you get away from an object, the less it has gravitational pull on you, and vice versa. The sun is extremely far away, from both the earth and the moon, but they are quite close to eachother, thus they exert quite a lot of gravitational force on each other.

I think we're in that nether-region where everything can effect us... to different degrees. Perhaps that's the region life like ours requires?
