This is great! Bruce Lee is one of the greatest teachers!

Infinite Love Is the Only Truth: Everything Else Is Illusion

It is said: &You shall not murder!&
Do not support terror war!

&There are many causes I would die for. There is not a single cause I would kill for.&
&An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.&

I don't know about other folks but the video doesn't go past 38 seconds for some reason.

Thanks for posting though too bad there isn't a philosophy section at this forum for it would've been a much better host section than politics.

Bruce Lee was a great source of inspiration for me when I was a teenager. I idolized him almost to the point of worship. He was a great example for me not only for his superb martial arts skills but also regarding his views on life and philosophy. I think it's fair to say that he was my teacher in absentia. The world suffered a great loss when Bruce died.

It's "Toa of Jeet Kun Do." Atleast that was the title of his book. Sorry about my stupid comment/correction.

Same here. Although I don't really idoloize other individuals anymore (note: not necessarily saying you do eigther). I'm curious as to how the hell he actually died as it's shrouded in mystery still.

For long I've just accepted the corny party-line: Bruce died inadvertently by his own hand through self-administration of a head-ache medicine. He developed acute cerebral oedema and passed away as a result of an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients of the medicine which caused the swelling of his head.

Now I look at it differently. When looked at from a broader perspective consider that here you have a man of great energy and talent with absolute determination to break away from the clutches of tradition and artificial boundaries delineating ethno-specific culture. Bruce had the iron will and ambition to become truly a free man, creative spirit and frown on the rules that were for him to adhere to by blood from birth. He was part of the elite and yet he didn't yield to their authority. He taught the sacred arts of combat to those who had a desire and eagerness to learn them regardless of race or creed. By doing so he defied and challenged the Chinese elite who rejected his radical departure from tradition and secrecy. Bruce broke away from the age-old tradition of fixed-style forms of fighting and invented a whole new unique system. A new martial arts borrowing not only from countless styles of gung fu but also from boxing, greco-roman wrestling, karate, and so on. 'Absorb what is useful and hack away the unessential' was his life-long holy be-like-water axiom of combat. He even studied javelin throwing to improve his punching power. The result, Jeet Kune Do or Way of the Stopping Fist, was a truly formidable combat system. Unfortunately, by definition through its effectiveness it was also seen a very real threat to the establishment of the 'classical mess' as Bruce scoffingly summed up the traditional fighting systems of the Orient. The charismatic genius who enjoyed an ever expanding fan-base and following was perceived as too great a liability to the powerbase of the Chinese elite. A risky free radical that was making more than a few waves and thus had to go. So there you have your motive to kill Bruce Lee. I now see much more virtue in the idea that the Triads were behind his untimely death.

ps. Bruce Lee was, as documented by Fritz Springmeier, a member of a wealthy arm of one of the 13 top Illuminati bloodlines, the Li family.

I couldn't agree more.

We've all got something to learn here and I wonder if those of us who think we've got it really have got it all.
