Macy's Department Store

I catch on slow. For several months now I've been wondering what's up with the big Macy's red star that's getting branded so heavy. A star can just be a star, but when it's being projected in the forceful way in which Macy's does it it makes me think.

It hit me today when shopping what it stands for. I couldn't find ANYTHING at all in the store that wasn't from China. The star represents China, and socialism in general. I'm embarrassed not having figured it out at once.

Erm.. no idea what you're talking about... but I thought I'd chime in anyway, as I usually do. A couple years ago during a parade... the macy's parade got all fucked up.. I think it actually fell and injured someone... the funny thing is though, the news coverage of the event cut to a clip of the previous year's macy's float INSTANTLY. WTF is that all about? What were they expecting that had them ready to do that?
