Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
Quote:This is a 2001 document from the European Parliament, who undertook a relatively independent investigation of the ECHELON surveillance system bizarrely, many people continue to dismiss this as a mere conspiracy theory. Then again, many people are Mormons. This report is solid gold for anyone looking to understand the precise mechanics and methodology behind global interception of electronic communication. It goes into a great amount of detail and will prove invaluable to serious researchers. Enjoy. http://news.skilluminati.com/?p=63 |

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
In 2006 there was a documentary about Echelon on the Swiss television. I watched it without big interest, but soon realized that it was very sensitive information. On TV, at prime time!

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
There was a show about Echelon a while ago on the tracker. I'm not sure if it was swiss tele or not. It wasn't bad.
Something they talked about that I wasn't aware of until watching it is Echelon is actually a program where the British and Aussies are allowed to spy on US communications and in turn the US spies on theirs because programs of this sort are not covered under current laws. The Brits can listen to whatever they want through these secret agreements where they share their data with the US, they can secretly do things that would get the US gov in trouble. The same goes the other way. The US spies on the UK for the British gov. This is just a part of the program but I believe it's the basic idea behind it. &We didn't have education. We had inspiration. Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
We all know there's a file on us somewhere that has nearly every detail of our lives laid out. I believe it. It seems like it would be both totally possible with current technology and having this data base would be of huge interest to the gov as a tool of tyranny, almost irresistible. A necessary part of the complete dream of having a chipped, tracked population. The only differences between a chipped population data base and the one they currently have is with chips the data will update faster, there will be more of it, and it will be more reliable.
The gov, at the top levels, always runs computers that are at least 5 years ahead of what's out. The world leader in mainframes, cray. Supplies them with the latest and greatest and has contracts where they won't even let the latest version on the market until the gov is ready to upgrade to something newer that beats the crap out of anything that goes public. Those old gov mainframes that do go public usually only go to Universities too. http://www.cray.com/ &We didn't have education. We had inspiration. If I was educated, I'd be a damn fool.& -Bob Marley

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
^^That sounds plausible, but the more I learn, I think that's not true.
FBI is in the early 90s at best. I mean yeah, NSA is dope and drives a lot of AI and encyption and data storage tech, but the private sector tends to be ahead of the curve. |

Quote:^^That sounds plausible, but the more I learn, I think that's not true. Thing is, now the private sector and the government are virtually synonymous. Big pharma writes FDA policy the same way Big Oil writes energy policy. One thing I noticed the other day is how that on google video one can't write comments on videos unless you're logged in (by logged in I mean either accepting their cookie, logged into gmail, or them otherwise being able to identify your machine). Am I the last person to notice that? I know for sure that were all my google video comments, searches, much less emails, were all read in one sitting it would give a profoundly accurate description of what I think here inside my head, what my weak and strong points are, a full x-ray of my personality. Makes me perk up when reading these stories about the Feds funding google, and even housing their company in their buildings. When companies like google do AI and the like, it's the same as TPTB working by proxy. Public and private sectors can no longer be cleanly divided. ![]()

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
I think the data is locked up by the high echelon and only accessed when the NSA men in black types deem it necessary. Otherwise normal agencies we know of can't look at it so we don't know it exists. Maybe I'm paranoid...hehe

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
^^Okay, that I agree with....
....sure, public/private might be fuzzy but there's still discreet entities on both sides...dept. of treasury has a terrible computer system, for instance. But yeah, NSA, corporate spooks, defense contractors, private banks, there's definitely an octopus and they definitely have the Good Toys way ahead of the rest of us. |

Amazing Report On Echelon Surveillance System
This happened in Finland couple of years ago
Here's a translated summary of the story so far: Sonera (http://www.sonera.fi/) - Finland's biggest ISP's customers have recently started receiving e-mails that have bounced back from echelon at sonera.inet.fi address, with an error message that the e-mail quota of that address is full. Apparently, the automated error message indicates that all e-mails sent via Sonera's e-mail servers are also directed to echelon at sonera.inet.fi address, for reasons unknown. Sonera has been recently in court due to communications privacy violations and it is inconceivable why the company would use an e-mail address with such a notorious name for any purpose. |

Thanks for the link ThirtySeven.
