If you listen closely to Leo's messages you will learn that Leo does acknowledge most of Islam has been corrupted (by influences of the Vatican). The fact that he reads and refers to the Koran doesn't necessarily make him identifiable with mainstream Islam.

Since one of its main functions is exerting (mind-)control, any expression of organized religion is suspicious by design. I think Leo is well aware of this and that's why he chose not to join regular Islam.

Yes, I've heard many muslims say "Those muslims who do bad things, they aren't really muslims."

Hes still promoting his brother hood of white robed men over another brotherhood of white robed men who say much the same thing but wear different hats.

..and another thing. To act like all "non-mainstream" mystical sects of any given well established religious group is somehow automatically free of the corruption we clearly see in the mainstream is rather silly.

That dual system exists in pretty much all faiths.

There is an exoteric, ritualistic, social, non-mystical aspect, and there is an esoteric, mystical, direct gnosis aspect. Depending on the organization, these will be split into different sects, some, like the Evangelicals and Pentacostal christians (as just one example) combine the two in their own bastardized way.

In the "Christian conspiracy community" they tend to demonize all esoteric practices (of course there own don't count as such :wink: ) and this mentality is systemic in christianity from the days when their men in white robes were intent on seeing the "pagan" men in white robes destroyed, so everyone would listen to them. (something like this happened in the Middle East as well)
Religious propaganda is the oldest form of propaganda, and the demonization of the esoteric practices of the opposing people is (ie they are secretly satan{insert evil deity}-worshipping, human sacrifcing baby eaters) so its our duty to oppose them, and so on and so forth.

What does this process do? It gives more power and influence to the religious or spiritual leaders who are doing the propagandizing. More followers, more money, more influence. Thats what "the Illuminati" or whatever you'd like to call them, have done all through the centuries.

When the Pagan Romans were trying to wipe out the Pagan Druids, it was the same situaiton.

Of course, picking on the Catholic Church is an easy target, I mean, just look at Ratzinger and tell me he isnt a rapist :laugh:

But when you actually set about studying the various estoeric sects there are in the world, you will come to find they are all saying the same thing, and describing the same thing in terms of "the world invisible" albiet in different ways, and with different cultural and religious spin.
The entire process has to do with individual developement. Trying to point to certain sects and organizations and claim they are the ultimate evil of all the white robed power hungry men putting themselves up as authorities is absurd when the same systems of control are being implemented everywhere regardless of what hat they are wearing, or weather or not they have beards.
