Alright Guys, Here's A Rant On "the Ground Truth"

So, I watched this stupid documentary not that long ago, and if you dont know what it is, let me explain. The entire doc is about the aftermath of service in Iraq. It is about the trama our boys go through. It is about the terrible times they have over there.

One of the fellows tells his story of the point where he "changed." He was at a road block and an old lady was walking towards this other road block. He fired at her. Then all the marines in the area fired at her. She was shot to pieces. Upon "closer examination" she was waving a white piece of cloth. Whoops!

Now, first of all, fuck this piece of shit. Second of all, fuck the ass holes who made this documentary. Ill admit, I was getting into it. Ill admit I was thinking, "man, our boys really have it hard." But the error in my thought hit me pretty damn hard right as that murderer finished his story. This documentary about ground "truth" and about the terrible aftermath in no way acknowleged the real sufferers, the Iraqi people. And, not only that, this documentary sat and gave comfort to the people CAUSING the suffering.

Alright, LETS BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR, a lot of people would now think, "but hey our guys dont want to be there, its not their fault." No its not their fault that the war was started. But do you know what they can control? SHOOTING OLD FUCKING LADIES IN THE FACE WHILE THEY ARE WAIVING A WHITE CLOTH. No one makes them pull the trigger or drop the bombs (or lay napalm as we also know they have done). These guys murder human beings at their own will. And, they hide behind excuses of "following orders."

I am sick and fucking tired of people making these guys out to be heros. Even if a specific soldier didnt shoot any old ladies or little girls, they just shot the men with guns, it doenst matter. Those Iraqi men with guns are husbands avenging lost children or wives. They arent terrorists. They arent evil. They are fighting to expell an invading force. OUR MILITARY IS THE BAD GUY. OUR SOLDIERS ARE THE BAD GUYS.

Do you know what I would be doing right now if I were an Iraqi? I would be lining the roads with bombs so I could kill every single fucking american I could. How long would it take for even the most passive of men to take up arms against the Americans? 50,000 dead? 100,000 dead? 650,000 dead? or how about a more round number of 1,000,000 dead? Ya know, that johns hopkins survery didnt count failed pregnancies due to DU, did it? That numer is probably much fucking higher.

But, do you know what I would be doing right now if I were a soldier in Iraq? I would have gotten the fuck out of there. Thats what. I would have tried to become a consciencious objector. And if that failed I just would have ran away at the first chance I could. I WOULDNT BE shooting human beings and making excuses about it. I WOULD DIE BEFORE I SHOT AN OLD LADY OR KID OR WHOEVER.

Alright this rant has gone on long enough. In a quick sum up... It is bullshit that people give comfort to soldiers who have murdered. They are supposed to feel bad. Its called guilt. It is bullshit that you are "aiding the enemy" if you care more about the Iraqis dead and dying than the troops killing them. This documentary is stupid for portreying the soldiers' "sacrifice" as more important than the Iraqi deaths. I am sick and fucking tired of stickers on cars. I am sick and tired of recruitment ads on TV. Youre all pieces of shit and a shame to humanity.

My dad is a conservative, republican, christian. Now, I am not knocking christians and I love my dad, but you guys know the type of person I am talking about. He has a tag with a ribbon and a US soldiers name attached to the steering wheel of his escalade. He tells me, "our church is handing these out. our boys are overseas and need our prayers. i pray for this soldiers safety every time I get in my car." AWESOME.

I am so tired of this shit. Is everyone in this world just fucking crazy? When my dad told me about the soldier, he really thought he was doing something good. He really, really thinks that its our soldiers that need help. No matter how many times I tell him about DU or a million dead it is the same sentiment that prevails.

This documentary is, to me, an example of this very viral train of throught. It attacks smart, well intentioned people, prohibiting them from using any sort of logic or deductive reasoning. They engage in well crafted double think and uncontemplated double standards.

Just think for a second what would happen if Americans cared just as much for Iraqi human beings as they do american soldiers. Just think about the wonderful world we'd be in.

I'm in total accord with TraxusIV, it is an all-volunteer military and I can find zero sympathy with someone who goes to another land to blindly follow criminal orders, oppress, commit open genocide and facilitate plunder for the IllumiNazis. The same bastards they pledge allegiance to are the same ones conspiring to do the same to us and their families here, the only difference is that it's a hot war over there and a slithering cold one in the west. The rules for humanity are simple: Willingly brutalizing and murdering innocent men,
women and children young and old makes you a serial-killing piece of shit, no matter what. Killing in defense of their life makes it no better, it's the same as if a violent mugger won out in a fight, and the crowd then lauds him as a hero. Taking over a country for the global predators to rape and pillage for profit and control makes you an utter piece of soulless garbage. Seems harsh? Think of the innocent humanity who are butchered for resource plunder, absolute control and Eugenocidal murder to suit the agendas of corporate war-pigs and the triad of the Israeli, U.K. and U.S. governments who serve a common mission.

If you go play Nazi throughout the globe, don't expect a confetti parade and balloons when you return. Where are the stickers reading 'Support the Innocent'? All the stickers, badges, placards and this lot are nothing more than preemptive pro-war PSY-Ops engineered by Pentagon think-tanks who want to ensure that the public never, ever, reverts to the days of Viet-Nam anti-war outrage and judgment.

In the real world, soldiers are deliberately put in harm's way, and kept within the confines of the gang mentality of "peer-pressure" to perform under fire as the team eats, breathes and dictates. In an atmosphere of corruption, fear and xenophobia it is like a gang or a cult. Very similar to the police, except there are very few "Serpicos" and you can easily be set up for a "friendly-fire" situation if you don't play along. Since you've been sentenced to a battle-field and you will be stuck with more than a few alpha-psychopaths and sanctioned serial-killers your only options are:
a) Desert
B)Commit suicide
c) Go judiciously postal turn the criminals in (yeah right)
d) Join the pack, follow the mob rules and hope to survive and go home.

If you're a cop in the modern world of institutional corruption and endemic graft you have a bit more leeway, but the options are much the same and you can either:

a) Quit
B)Commit suicide
c) Go judiciously postal or turn the criminals in (yeah right)
d) Join the pack, follow the mob rules, keep to yourself and hope to retire and go home.

So you have quite a dilemma if you try and follow a path of rectitude and righteousness as indicated by the U.S. military's own guide of proper conduct. Which I do believe is required reading when you sign up.

THE UNIFORM CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE

The Uniform Code of Military Justice was passed by Congress on 5 May 1950, signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, and became effective on 31 May 1951. The word "Uniform" in the Code's title refers to the congressional intent to make military justice uniform or consistent among the armed services.

The following are excerpts from the Uniform Code of Military Justice:

893. ART. 93. CRUELTY AND MALTREATMENT

Any person subject to this chapter who is guilty of cruelty toward, or oppression or maltreatment of, any person subject to his orders shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

918. ART. 118. MURDER

Any person subject to this chapter whom without justification or excuse, unlawfully kills a human being, when he--
(1) has a premeditated design to kill;

(2) intends to kill or inflict great bodily harm;

(3) is engaged in an act which is inherently dangerous to others and evinces a wanton disregard of human life; or

(4) is engaged in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of burglary, sodomy, rape, robbery, or aggravated arson;

is guilty of murder, and shall suffer such punishment as a court-martial may direct, except that if found guilty under clause (1) or (4), he shall suffer death or imprisonment for life as a court-martial may direct.

919. ART. 191. MANSLAUGHTER

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who, with an intent to kill or inflict great bodily harm, unlawfully kills a human being in the heat of sudden passion caused by adequate provocation is guilty of voluntary manslaughter and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

(B)Any person subject to this chapter who, without an intent to kill or inflict great bodily harm, unlawfully kills a human being--

(1) by culpable negligence; or

(2) while perpetrating or attempting to perpetrate an offense, other than those named in clause (4) of section 918 of this title (article 118), directly affecting the person;

is guilty of involuntary manslaughter and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

920. ART. 120. RAPE AND CARNAL KNOWLEDGE

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who commits an act of sexual intercourse with a female not his wife, by force and without consent, is guilty of rape and shall be punished by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.

(B)Any person subject to this chapter who, under circumstances not amounting to rape, commits an act of sexual intercourse with a female not his wife who has not attained the age of sixteen years, is guilty of carnal knowledge and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

© Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete either of these offenses.

921. ART. 121. LARCENY AND WRONGFUL APPROPRIATION

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who wrongfully takes, obtains, or withholds, by any means, from the possession of the owner or of any other person any money, personal property, or article of value of any kind--

(1) with intent permanently to deprive or defraud another person of the use and benefit of property or to appropriate it to his won use or the use of any person other than the owner, steals that property and is guilty of larceny; or

(2) with intent to temporarily to deprive or defraud another person of the use and benefit of property or to appropriate to his own use the use of any person other than the owner, is guilty of wrongful appropriation.

(B)Any person found guilty of larceny or wrongful appropriation shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

922. ART. 122. ROBBERY

Any person subject to this chapter who with intent to steal takes anything of value from the person or in the presence of another, against his will, by means of force or violence or fear of immediate or future injury to his person or property or to the person or property of a relative or member of his family or of anyone in his company at the time of the robbery, is guilty of robbery and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

926. ART. 126. ARSON

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who willfully and maliciously burns or sets on fire an inhabited dwelling, or any other structure, movable or immovable, wherein to the knowledge of the offender there is at the time a human being, is guilty of aggravated arson and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

(B)Any person subject to this chapter who willfully and maliciously burns or sets fire to the property of another, except as provided in subsection (a), is guilty of simple arson and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

927. ART. 127. EXTORTION

Any person subject to this chapter who communicates threats to another person with the intention thereby to obtain anything of value or any acquittance, advantage, or immunity is guilty of extortion and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

928. ART. 128. ASSAULT

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who attempts or offers with unlawful force or violence to do bodily harm to another person, whether or not the attempt or offer is consummated, is guilty of assault and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

(B)Any person subject to this chapter who--

(1) commits an assault with a dangerous weapon or other means or force likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm; or

(2) commits an assault and intentionally inflicts grievous bodily harm with or without a weapon;

is guilty of aggravated assault and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

929. ART. 129. BURGLARY

Any person subject to this chapter who, with intent to commit an offense punishable under section 918-929 of this title (article 118-128), breaks and enters, in the nighttime, the dwelling house of another, is guilty of burglary and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

931. ART. 131. PERJURY

Any person subject to this chapter who in a judicial proceeding or in a course of justice willfully and corruptly--

(1) upon a lawful oath or in a form allowed by law to be substituted for an oath, gives any false testimony material to the issue or matter of inquiry; or

(2) in any declaration, certificate, verification, or statement under penalty or perjury as permitted under section 1746 of title 28, United States Code, subscribes any false statement material to the issue or matter of inquiry; is guilty of perjury and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

It's our inner values and moral rectitude that define us as strong men and women, and it is what we are judged on by our peers and spiritually. These are the qualities of emulation, that when the rubber hits the road you either excel at or fail miserably to the cost of your precious soul (not being religious here). You make a conscious choices in this life to be evil and serve as an pawn of the infernal IllumiNazis. Support the Troops? How about Support the Truths!

This also extends to the choices we make as civilians at work, where you can consciously choose to facilitate evil by watching and passively accepting corruption, and insulated conspiracies to steal, cheat or harm your fellow brothers and sisters on this planet. These are the works by which you are judged on if anything in this world, and the decisions we make define our ultimate worth. There are a million little administrative lackeys of fascism and avarice who openly choose to break laws, subvert democracy and serve their masters will like a rutting dog. The wiretappers, the spies, the disinformation agents, agent provocateurs, informers and the lot who barter their humanity for silver. The ad executive who calculatingly manufactures lies to sell products that maim, enslave and kill for money. The barrister/lawyer who conjures lies to set the guilty free, or knowingly imprison the innocent, to protect an infrastructure of evil and absolute corruption. The pilots who spray immune-suppressant, weather manipulating Chemtrails globally over the populace. The personnel at Monsanto who rapaciously spawn genetically modified seeds and other products that can injure, sicken or poison slowly. I could go on ad infinitum on these sorry examples but you get the general idea.

The point is that we must all accept our roles as individual leaders to be admired, emulated and even followed. Don't wait for Superman, BE Superman! No one else is for fuck's sake so make a stance and be the first. Strive for excellence in all that you do and people will sing of your praise and you will leave a bold legacy with a bar set high.

No one is perfect, and it is a fact that we make mistakes on the path to strive as just and moral beings. How does fascism and its demonic leaders manifest itself? When good people do nothing, say nothing and facilitate both its creation and sustenance. Fight evil in all it's forms and make a stand for humanity and the next generation. This generation makes the blueprints and sets the foundation for the next generation. Let's all take the helm and steer about from the certain collision we are headed.

I'm in total agreement with what you have said, Traxus, except that no social problem will ever be solved by the same level of reasoning that caused that problem. We can't just be reactionary, can't just be anti-war. We have to be Pro-life, Pro-beauty, Pro-goodness, Pro-rights, Pro-humanity.

Since I live in the American military culture, daily, perhaps I can offer some insight as to how most servicemembers think. To Americans, the only thing that matters is America. Not even America in the traditional sense, such as "all men are created equal, ... endowed ... with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

American servicemembers only see their own government as the highest authority, the arbiter of right and wrong. Basically, the current American way of life is right, and anyone who interferes with that way of life is wrong. Our way of life is made possible in large part by automobiles, and the gasoline that fuels them. Now, being that the American way of life in part involves turning a blind eye to exploitation of Middle Eastern countries by the American government and their corporate cronies, that would make the inhabitants of said countries not only "dirty Hadjis", as Arabs are commonly referred to in the Armed Forces, but de facto enemies of America.

Of course, assuming that the average servicemember is actually conscious of his turning a blind eye is assuming a lot. To them, duty, blind loyalty, and one's warrior self-image are far more important than considering the ramifications of our actions as a nation, or, far more important than thinking, period. Besides, we're not paid to think. Anyone who suggests that our leaders don't have our best interest in mind is just a wild conspiracy theorist, or a traitor.

As for myself, I prefer to think.
