If you study the history of the nations in religious context, you'll find that he doesn't punish the nations if the nations are able to correct themselves. He's a just judge and he only punishes when there are no more reasons left for him to forgive.

Thanks for your comments, but I am not particularly interested in the religious interpolations as they have absolutely NO bearing or merit in the discussion. That said, if you believe that gOD forgives nations that "are able to correct themselves," then how long does gOD wait? In that case how long will he tolerate Israel, the US, and others of the ilk? How about China, which is poised to be THE leading world superpower on virtually every front within the next 20 years even though Mao had his hand in killing at least 60 million in the process? I guess Mao and Pol Pot and Stalin and genocide of at least 20 million natives in North America is not as goo a reason to go after a nation as with Hitlers Germany? gOd sure put up with a lot of the Imperialist aspirations as well, including the UK which had conquered or maintained direct influence over a vast chunk of the world with serious brutality, until the turn of last century didn't s/he? For that matter, of the nations, why is gOD not punishing corporations that rape and pollute the planet via weapons MFG, genetic engineering, suppression of alternative energy sources, banks and their fractional reserve system, private corporate armies running roughshod through African nations making people work as slaves for oil and diamonds? It is certainly not just the Zionists though, and which us will this "fell upon?" is it you and me in particular or the whole world? And why is our fate then linked to the actions of Zionists(???) and not other factors? Seems like gOD's eternal rules have sides beyond righteous and evil perhaps lending itself to blind favoritism.

As long as they are willing to act in ways you cannot they will have a tactical advantage. Sure it's not fair, but might always rules and that IS one of gODS laws. I'm not saying I like it but that is what I see all around us. Even to stop a war it takes the might of 100's of times more people than those who want it and that is a form of might in itself. When we talk about God and soul and angels and demons, there's no physical explanation that can satisfy. Only religious doctrines and spiritual knowledge can fully explain.

When a nation has collective qualities that result into common good, that nation is 'correctable". When such qualities go down the hill, then a punishment is needed to let you and me (and the rest of the human race) realise that we were wrong. If a nation is not correctable, fully corrupted and cause more damage than any present or future good, then, my friend, Sinking of Atlantis occurs.
