The crisis of modern democracy is a profound one. Free elections, a free press and an independent judiciary mean little when the free market has reduced them to commodities available on sale to the highest bidder.

I think the typical ConCen-er is indeed generic, but the generic that defines the ConCen family is different from the sheeple generic.

But I think I'm missing something, so what's the gimmick here?

Confessions Of A Generic Magazine
the idea is that most magazines are generic and print the same crap each week/month/year and that there is more advertising than actual content

womens magazines typically discuss the following:[list]*weight loss
*whats hot/not
*who's dating who
*gossip & rumors
*how to color coordinate your wardrobe/clothes
*fashion tips from people no-one cares about
*dr ruth type sex guru Q&A things
*20'ish pages of ads and perfume pullouts<>
[st]
my heads hurting just thinking of that crap.
Is that stuff dumbing the population or what?

*tssk* you shouldn't be reading them then!
All magazines are part of culture creation, wasn't this fashion funded and started by the CIA with the womens magazines in the 1960s?
