Sopranos Episode 83 Kennedy & Heidi - Tony Embraces Evil

At the end Tony is screaming "I get it!"

That's after winning several rounds of craps at the casino.

When Tony entered the casino they drew a close up of a Slot machine of which at the top was a plastic red devil. He looked at it, and passed it by going to the craps table & winning big.

If you look at the past prior episodes this season he has been loosing big at the Casino's, but he was also showing character traits of a "good guy". In one episode all that changed, and Tony is back on the dark side, clearer than we have ever seen before.

I think the script is saying: I get it, I get repaid for bad deeds. I give in.

Did you guys notice how AJ is realizing how fucked up the whole world is "why can't we all just get along" after participating in burning a kids toes off with acid and he and his buds taking turns beating the hell out of a black kid. You got Tony shooting his own cousin.

Sopranos is becoming a reflection of modern depraved society. Interesting to see where they are taking us.

It's a TV show for adults portraying the fictitious life of an organised crime figure, his associates and his family - of course it's going to be violent and morally ambiguous.

heh, well analyzing the sopranos is retarded I guess... it's more than obvious.. but still, last season was all about tony's near death experience and awakening, a new kinder person. Now we are seeing him unravel again. I just thought it was interesting and worth commenting:)

Dissecting the mainstream popular tv shows & hollywood movies is more important than you may think. It's their message that needs reverse engineering.
