There is now about 98 Gigabytes of 911 news footage salvaged from Archive.org by some foresightful and intrepid soul, that is once again available online for direct download from either the public or private Crypt. I believe that's everything available on the ConCen tracker, but if anyone notices anything missing and knows where I can obtain the missing piece(s), please email me.

Would the heroic person or persons who obtained all this historical news footage from Archive.org, and then transferred the massive load to me via bittorrent please stand up and take a bow. Thank you

You should contact Arie on the Loose Change Forums board. Arie has all the NBC coverage apparently, and much of the FOX and ABC coverage and is looking for someone to host the footage. 100 DVD's worth Arie says.

Thanks for the tip. I've signed up for an account (am awaiting my confirmation email actually) and will be looking for Arie. Between the two webhosts I now rent space from I have about 650 GB of online storage, but 100 DVD's would be around 4.5 TERABYTES of data! I would be willing to rent more online webspace, but I'm not sure I could afford quite that much. :crazy:

Great, good luck then. I hope we can see more of these MPG's in the near future. I would have offered Arie, but hardly have the resources to host or torrent anything like that.

Actually it'd be around 470 Gigabytes.

Many of the 9/11 MPEG files on the tracker here (and indeed the same ones on your site) are corrupted - they do not match the expect MD5/SHA1s of archive.orgs site. Not your fault or anyone else's, just the way it turns out. People must of spotted problems when playing some of them.

I am in direct contact with someone at archive.org, and am determined to get access to all vids by fair means or foul :wink:

Good luck on locating the videos, by whatever means necessary. :wink: I've PM'd Arie over on the Loose Change forum and am awaiting news from him. If either of you lay your hands on the videos, you can always upload them anonymously to the crypt by clicking on the following link and "dragging" the files or folders into your browser window (I think you need Java or Javascript enabled for this to work however):

You can also use any regular FTP client and upload the files anonymously to http://ftp.linuxgnu.net

Although the upload is anonymous and doesn't require any password (the default username is "anonymous"), your IP address is recorded so please don't upload crap or anything that will get me into trouble with my web hosting provider. Anything to do with the 9/11 hoax or other government corruption is very welcome however. Everything uploaded goes into an "incoming" folder so that I can review it before moving it over to the publicly viewable pages. Good luck with the vids and please keep me posted (you can email me via my profile if you wish).

Thanks Xenomorph, I'd love to grab that footage and add it to my collection but apparently I've been banned from the tracker or something (probably by IP because none of the torrents I was downloading via the tracker can connect anymore). The strange thing is that I can log on to the tracker page just fine, but nothing works for me... no index, no search function (ie; no results ever found for anything), and sometimes I get a "401 Unauthorized" error message. Oh well. Such is life.

Anywhere else I can get a copy? How about emailing it to me or uploading it anonymously to ftp://crypt.linuxgnu.net/incoming please?

ftp://911hoax.net/incoming should also work, although I haven't tried it yet.
