This is what I can think of:
"A" signifies the first letter of the alphabet. "A" also stands for "Aton" or the ancient Egyptian God which is revered by the secret society called the Cult of Aton, with Pharao Akhen-aton being its founder. "A", the foremost letter in the alphabet, thus represents the foremost God, Aton. The letter "A" can also be recognised in the square and compasses symbol of Freemasonry, signifying linkage with Aton and suggesting a tie-in with (its master) the Cult of Aton. And yes, the letter "A" represents the unfinished pyramid with the missing capstone hovering above the top of chipped off pyramid. The snipped off top of the pyramid, a triangle, suggesting to accommodate the eye of Aton, or Adon -> Adon-nay, or Yahwey or Yehova or God.
