Why the fuck do people in the 9/11 truth movement use the term "truther"?

Why not 9/11 truth activist? I'm sick of the word truther it sounds so fucking stupid. Like the equivalent to the n word for 9/11 activists & is used deragatorially in a similar way by detractors (are you a 'troofer') It's not fair that the government & the Israelis get to blow up the World Trade Center & then kill a million people & then we get called 'troofers' for it :angry:

I propose a renaming of the movement to that.

lol I think you're right. Although Paul Joseph Watson deserves a lot of the blame imo for being the first to put it in writer. I always Digg the Prison Planet & relevant stories & I am so sick of being labeled a truther by all the 'bury brigade' idiots. Like William Cooper's newspaper. No I think the name 9/11 Truth Movement is good, it's bold in that it announces that we promote the truth about 9/11, rather than calling it the 9/11 conspiracy theorists or something. But the term "truther" is annoying, all it does is invite ridicule because it sounds dumb. IMO we should refer to ourselves as activists (those of us who do engage in activism) rather than 'truthers'. A lot of people would say that I'm nitpicking but I really don't think that I am because presentation is everything when you're making your case about critical information that many people are gonna be unreceptive to off the bat. You wanna come off as credible as possible. Now the detractors have this "troofer" thing which is I guess to imply that 9/11 truth activists are immature or something :rolleyes:we haven't grown up enough to become gullible idiots and believe ridiculous lies merely because they have been deemed the 'official version' by the establishment which is predatory in nature.

Another thing I hate is how the people who believe the ridiculous, incredibly debunkable official story are referred to as the debunkers! We are the debunkers, we debunk the official story that's literally on every level a joke! I know I'm most likely preaching to the choir but I just feel the need to state the ridiculousness of it. Don't you love how the definitions of everything get flipped around & promoted that way by the government & the mainstream media? Like Ron Paul is an isolationist because he wants to trade with countries rather than bomb them. Or the document that nulls a good part of the Constitution, which is the guidelines of liberty that America is supposed to be great for, is called the Patriot Act? Completely Orwellian. Or how about the word "semetic" being used to mean only white european Jews?

Truther? IMHO it stems from dumbfucks that spend all their time on 911 blogger-but-censored.com et. alia. I;ve said this before... "911 truth activists" only see a small portion of the greater picture, so that's why the label themselves the be-all and end-all.

If they actually had a fucking clue about Waco, Oka, Fed, etc.... and of course...lol... as Og says, the j00z.

Well, I just looked at that 911blogger site since you mentioned it & I see they are actually telling people to contact Abe Foxman of the ADL & complain about something he said. However it's just something Foxman said about it being offensive that some Democratic Congressman compared Hitler & the Reichstag Fire to Bush & 9/11 & not anything pertaining to the fact that Foxman & the ADL actively lobbied the mainstream media for censorship of all news stories about the various reports of the Israeli involvement in 9/11 including the massive spy ring & the fake moving company (that there's a sticky about in the Zionism section.) It's funny how that shit has actually been on tv on Fox News of all places & in mainstream newspapers & on shows like Democracy Now & yet the supposed 9/11 truth movement doesn't talk about it much. I think that's starting to change though.
