From princeton... looks like once we're done with wars for oil, water will be next.

Oh the eugenicists would LOVE to start playing up a water frenzy. What a great reason to enforce one child policies.

Yep. I've worked at Clean Water Action for going on 8 years. It's a hard job to keep but I'm "selling short" on civilization, as Wall St. terms it, betting that with each year the value of my job will rise.

Disappearing water? Where's it going to go? The atmosphere has a saturation point. Perhaps they'd have me believe water now defies gravity and will float off into space? What horseshit this is.

Actually I wrote a column about this back in spring 2000 called "Water Crisis Sucks us into Revolution" and of course someone had the same reponse you did -- a business student -- so then a science student corrected him:

Damn making me thirsty, we all know who those guys a princeton work for or around... (smirk)... but this is a definite heads up, drinkable water supply has been an issue not given the light it needs in this petrochemical society of ours. Good post Drew.

I like the design for this. what makes it good water or bad water? Isnt it a pure substance? Is this describing fluoridation or impurity? why is Belgium water so bad?

Of course ignore all the other options such as AIRWELLS which pull it directly out of the damned air. They are FREE though and too self-sufficiency based. Wouldn't want those popping up all over the desert edges. RIGHT ON about the saturation point CNTRL. Bang-on

It's what's going in the water, the lack of respect we have for it. That's why people want to control it... some want to protect and respect it, others have already disrespected their own water to a point where now they have to take it from people who haven't... just like land, or any resource.

Water is the most important "resource".

Whatever we put in the water, we are eventually going to drink. People don't think about that.
"Don't worry cause we've got MAAAAAAGIC PILLS to clean the water, or if you don't have enough money for clean water pills... you can use a little bit of Mr.Clean to clean your water!"

What doesn't go down the toilet?

We have to face the fact that we are putting poisons, drugs, chemicals and shit into our drinking water. Then we make chemicals to clean the water full of chemicals.

So what do we do?

This is weird. Jefferson County High School is out of school again for the 2nd day, no water for the school. In Maryville, there is a 50.00 fine for washing a car. Commercial washing is cancelled. Many of Pigeon Forge motels are out of water. Many wells have ran dry. Ponds dry. Lakes look like creeks. In the Smokies Mountain streams now dry. All this in the Lakeway Area.

Yet here in Texas we’ve had record rainfall and flooding this year. All this looks like to me is proof of weather modification, as this fall seems like a never ending summer (92 F / 33 C - just for today) here in the Lone Star State.

It's been cooler here and we've had a flood where I live too. I saw a washing machine spinning around in an eddy of the river... kind of ironic.

I wish I could help ya do a rain dance.

We were to get showers Tuesday. Looked more like dew. I've got some pictures of one lake placed up. I was parked in the bed of the lake while taling them. I've got more not posted from 2 other area lakes. http://anthonykimbrough.com/drought.htm
