17 Year old Texan, curious about this site
My name is David, I'm interested in Neurology and Psychology, and in my search of torrents on related material, found a relay back to this site. I have read a couple of hours worth of the posts here, most seem to be related to something called the new world order and illuminati. I suspect religions are brainwashing, but I can't accept that the proposed dynamic aspects of life (school, economy, etc) are controlled by some alien evil rulers who have nothing better to do. I think politics are potentially controlled, in certain aspects, but not because of an organized society, its more of an individual bias (sometimes including blind and idiotic tendencies) by the people who are temporarily elected. I myself hope to teach Neurology and Psychology in a school of some sort, after many years of field work. I have met many teachers and they seem to be driven on the same goal -- to help children shape the future, and various formal subjects such as Math, Science, History aren't just about the actual "subject" itself, its about building higher order thinking, and even though its not the best for the individual, its at least decent for the masses, don't you think?

this kind of free-thought community is extremely interesting, but with it I think comes extreme amounts of totally incorrect information, with little hidden ideas that may be true.

Just an outsiders perspective, If I come off as an ignorant "drone" from the rest of America, as many here say we all are, "enlighten" me, I am far more objective than I seem

Welcome. I'm a 16 year old Texan myself. I hope you enjoy it here. In these intro threads you can get a lot of good responses to your questions- although I'm not the best one to ask and it's late right now.

My best suggestion is to just let go and question everything, and I mean everything. I can guarantee you have some assumptions you don't even realize, and there's no better way to find out about possible assumptions and biases than to start reading the material in this forum.

Enjoy!

Fluoride in the water.

Genetically modified crops.

Mercury in the vaccines.

Steer clear of that shit man... if you're new to "all this stuff" as I call it, you might not know the crap thats in our food/water and drugs. That reminds me - the "Food and Drug Administration" does anyone here ever get the feeling they are putting drugs in our food? Remember, most stuff is hidden in plain view if you just look at it the right way. Why not have a "Food Administration" and a "Drug Administration" huh?! Why is it the "Food AND Drug Administration"??? Think about it man.
