I've been following the 9/11 conspiracy for a long time and I believe we might see 9/11-2b in October during the Topoff 4 FSE military exercises. I'm hoping like any sane individual that another 9/11 does not occur. I am active in the military and I was a Freemason at one point. I know the levels that individuals will go to attain power and control. I have family members that survived 9/11 that believe their employers were forwarned of the events and subsequently shut down their buisnesses to avoid the event. The world is crazy and if we don't work together among one another for the benefit of all I believe we will bring about our own demise. Peace. :biggrin:

Hey folks this is rumor but I heard on the 18 of Sept. that the Fed is having a meeting and that some people in the know expect the dollar to tank.

I don't know squat about the stock market but all I can say if the dollar takes a dive like many people have been predicting this might just be the breaking point for our economy. Oh and that individual that made that "Bin Laden Trade" would be even richer than he already is I'm guessing. So tomorrow I'm taking all the money I have in my savings and I'm investing it in Gold! They say if the value of the dollar drops the value of gold rises. I'm just trying to be smart enough to protect my intrest.

Does anyone out there think I'm making a smart move?:eyebrow:

I don't know about gold, it will retain value after the dust settles but in the event of a collapse usable and life sustaining goods will be the first commodity that will be valuable. Food, clothing, shelter, etc. Gold seems based upon oil some say. The reason gold is worth so much is it's universal and gets it's worthiness from ancient cultures found the metal easier to work with. Buying gold isn't the trick, it's selling it in large quantities. Perhaps a portion in gold.

My wife is leaving her 401K in tact but I am cashing out my CD and investing it in ammo and liquidable things. I'm sure that gold will be eventually highly sought after but if it does collapse the first thing will be bartering for needed goods, food, ammo, clothes, seeds, and other necessities. People will need to live first. I listened to my great grandmother when I was younger who lived through the great depression and listened how they bartered for everyday life necessities. This may prove especially true if hyperinflation appears.

I'm stand beside my brother hilly7. I say it a lot, but you can't eat gold. Food first (plus what hilly said) gold will help you later perhaps. Get some seed as well and a good gardening book. Or invest in food that lasts awhile. Don't get caught with your pants down when it comes to food/water though. First things first.
