I had placed the two versions side by side and read them, before this thread was created, having read the "original" a long time ago.

So it's my opinion on someone's work strawman, why you quoted me, I have no idea.

btw good job on those podcasts, I agree with a lot of what you say :smile:

Thx for the kind words VX - it was the 'jew speak' comment that made me groan, and 'modern english' is another term for dumbed down english, which is why I suggested reading the original translations. That and as more and more people get involved, the broken telephone effect takes root.

Yeah, I had an idea it might be that strawman and on that you have a valid point. Of course it is just language from a different time period. English has degraded over the decades in every medium. Reading the original is preferable, but a hard slog and I'm happy to see an easier to read version appear.
