Australia's indigenous peoples - not nomadic
Before white settlers arrived, Australia's indigenous peoples lived in houses and villages, and used surprisingly sophisticated architecture and design methods to build their shelters, new research has found.

Dwellings were constructed in various styles, depending on the climate. Most common were dome-like structures made of cane reeds with roofs thatched with palm leaves.

Some of the houses were interconnected, allowing native people to interact during long periods spent indoors during the wet season.

The findings, by the anthropologist and architect Dr Paul Memmot, of the University of Queensland, discredits a commonly held view in Australia that Aborigines were completely nomadic before the arrival of Europeans 200 years ago.

Dr. Hermann Oberth who pioneered rocket design for the German Reich during World War II and later advanced rocket technology for the American manned space launches, cryptically stated: "We cannot take the credit for our record advancement in certain scientific fields alone; we have been helped."

When asked by whom, he replied: "The people of other worlds."

Australia's indigenous peoples - not nomadic
what ive always found interesting is that the indigenous people from australia, north america, africa were relativly unadvanced compared to europeans and even compared to asians in some cases.

but did that technology mean they were more advanced ?

spirtually i dont think so, the spirtualality that the "non advanced" peoples of the 3 continents i mentioned was far more advanced and was not some institutionalized belief system which exploits spirtualality.

i still do find it amazing that the europeans landed in south africa in the 1700s and had mirrors and roads back in eu but the africans were still living in mud huts etc.

i watched this documentry "the journey of man" it was about a geneticist that said he has discovered a way to track the journey of man using the dna in blood. i wont go into that here, but it was interesting. he basically said that man started in africa and then traveled up the east coast of africa and some went to eu some to asia some to australia and some to north america etc.

its possible that the journey they took compared to the lazy ones which stayed behind in africa could of forced them to think and exercise their intellect to survive etc, this is why they ended up being more advanced than the lazy ones who didnt trek and just stayed in africa.

but even if all this is bullshit its still interesting how around 400 years ago there was such different levels of advancement in the same species.
