So well was the book written and thoroughly documented that it captured the attention of fellow economists in America who would later translate it to english for the world to read. From the very rich and top managerial echelons to the huge financial monopolies and banks, Millionaires and Managers shows in number charts and its careful analysis who are the real rulers of America. Although written in former Soviet Union, the ostensible opponent of capitalist America, the reader can't help himself to notice that the system Menshikov is describing is very much alike the communist one in his own country with the only difference of super rich famillies replacing the party and exercising the control through overt means by hiding behind the facade of democracy. 325 pages. A must read for everyone.
