Question(s) for Muslims
Quote:Hey all, Ctrl has it right. its 72, and yes you can interpretate such a thing out of the Quran if you have hadith in the back of your head. In paradise, the PARABLE (the text even says the parable of paradise is...) is that we will all have pure servants. If you are a sexually depraved nut that lives in a cave, i can see how that can turn sexual. But pure and virgin is not the same, nor is it in religious language. Pure is clean, is rightious, you know the score Quote:Can a radical Islamic zealot, interpretting the Koran correctly, expect to be rewarded for a suicide bombing, for real? I've always considered it a false claim of propaganda but I could be wrong. the Quran in no uncertain tersm condemns suicide and attacking people who are unarmed. Civilians is NEVER a target is real islamic warfare. You may kill women and children if they are armed and trying to kill you, but thats it and its not like its encouraged. The idea of blowing up a bus full of "civilians" is as unislamic as it gets. And their reward will be, staying with their own terms, hell for all eternity! But how would they know, the people who blow themself up are usually illetarates who never read the Quran, nor hadith and just realy on what the scorpions and snakes with beards and turbans who lurk in the mosques tells them is true. The majority of muslims are illiterate, and authoritarian, you do the math. |

Murder and indicriminately butchering civilians is definetly not jihad. I'm not sure how easy that is for someone who's never been to a third world nation to understand though, but it's should be too hard for anyone interesting in understanding the status quo. shZ - Minimal Tech Session v2.3 Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Progressive House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v2.3 shZ - Minimal Tech Session v1.3 / The Journey to Here Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Breaks / Progressive House, Minimal Tech House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v1.3 / The Journey to Here shZ - Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse Style: Trance, Progressive Trance/House, Breaks / Psy Trance, Goa Trance, Trance Download link: Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse |

Question(s) for Muslims
Quote:I wouldnt call them illiterate, just ignorant.Dude, you line in LA, in the US, a "first world" Nation. Majority of Muslim Nations are under developed "third world" nation where most people literally can't read. Do you know what the legal definition for "literacy" in a place like Pakistan is for instance? Anyone who can write their namep, and I assure you most people meeting that criteria can only do just that for legal purposes to sign contracts etc:eyebrow:. Based on that definition, the literacy rate is only 45%. EDIT: Now take something like that in to consideration, it's not hard for the CIA/MI5 types to find a handful of people to radicalize and then use the media to paint all Muslims in one broad stoke. Not to say they're nuts becuase they're illerate, but they're definetly not that hard to manipulate, but only a few of them would go to the extreme of indisciminate violence. You can't seriously expect them to be able to distinguish between actual religious teaching and backwards cultural practices, which are also largely a results of colonial rule in those areas. shZ - Minimal Tech Session v2.3 Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Progressive House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v2.3 shZ - Minimal Tech Session v1.3 / The Journey to Here Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Breaks / Progressive House, Minimal Tech House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v1.3 / The Journey to Here shZ - Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse Style: Trance, Progressive Trance/House, Breaks / Psy Trance, Goa Trance, Trance Download link: Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse |

Question(s) for Muslims
No worries dude, I'm glad you asked. Most people, generally speaking, hold on to assumptions and what they've been told if they haven't heard any different for the most part. I'm glad that isn't the case here on ConCen.

Question(s) for Muslims
I read about some guy who translated the Koran directly from arameic and found out, that the passage about the 72 virgins is a really bad mis-translation. He says it's in fact 72 plums! No wonder this guy got death threats immediately.
Clarification: the number 72 is not from the Koran but from one of the Hadiths. |

No wonder this guy got death threats immediately.I wonder if some nutty Wahabi will interpret "plum" as being a virgin male ass ([certain] preist, rabbis and clerics aren't the only depraved loonies on this planet!) shZ - Minimal Tech Session v2.3 Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Progressive House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v2.3 shZ - Minimal Tech Session v1.3 / The Journey to Here Style: Minimal, Techno, Tech House, Breaks / Progressive House, Minimal Tech House Download link: Minimal Tech Sessions v1.3 / The Journey to Here shZ - Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse Style: Trance, Progressive Trance/House, Breaks / Psy Trance, Goa Trance, Trance Download link: Lucid Perceptions (A New Beggining) / Psy Eclipse |

Question(s) for Muslims
Plums is bs, lol. The Quran calls the 'virgins' Hoor el Ein, which has nothing to do with plums.
