A Question for Christians on God
Quote:Good job Hilly, I appreciate your tolerance with these people. I have a question, how would God NOT exist? How is time so perfect? How is the universe so large and made up of atoms? How is there a perfect atmosphere and water only on Earth in our solar system when all the other planets formed the same way?
Tolerance!?!?!?... I have to tolerate yous guys... it's a two way street my friend.
How would god not exist... this is retarded. It's quite easy, you don't listen to anyone, think about shit... a lot, and wam, he doesn't exist. It's pretty easy, considering no one here can make a good argument for him existing other than hearsay and awe. A coin flip is all.
As for universal and planetary balances... who knows, but your absolute naivety in regards to their procurement aren't good arguments for the presence of divinity in their creation.
Seriously, I'm fucking tired of people using the fact that shit works and they don't know why or how it does as evidence of a higher power... it's nonsense. I mean shit, with that kind attitude, you might as well bring back divine right of rule... "fuck he's king, don't know how he got there, but he must deserve it."
MG you grind my gears.
oh yeah and fuck the big bang. Anyone who can observe a piece of infinity, and know what it really is will understand that it propagates in both directions time wise. Beginnings and ends are merely human ideas where humans are trying to pin a life cycle like our own on cosmic functions. Kind of like personification, but in a really dumb, non entertaining way.
Hilly you hit it on the head with this "Knowing the facts, is it possible the existence of a Creator is real, we just haven't advanced enough to know it yet?"
The thing is it's just as possible that there isn't a creator if you value your statement as true. We can't prove it wrong... you can't prove it right. Fuck it.
Here's my piece of mind: If I can't be sure something is true... I will not believe in it. End of story. That's why I'm on a conspiracy website. I question shit.
I find it funny that people on this site question everything but their faith. Which is bullshit cause it's meaning is exactly belief without proof. It's quite laughable, except when you try to argue with me.
I gets me fucking pissed which is why I try to stay away from these posts.
Hilly I like you, but just cause you died for a second and think you met the light or whatever doesn't mean shit. Too you yes, but it isn't quantifiable outside of your experience. I've gotten drunk and thought I didn't fuck a fat chick but really did. Bad example, but really your story doesn't do shit. I know an atheist that had a near replica experience of yours... only thing is he didn't believe in a higher power so he interpreted it differently.
Fuck my corpse will rot away with a smile when I die and I know I didn't waste any of my energy on religion except to argue with you fools when I come home from a show or nice night of drinking and don't have a scanty slut to sodomize.
Pearly gates... bah
