A Question for Christians on God
Quote:Funny how impotent this topic is... I still don't believe and everyone that did still does... You are correct in that, mention religion and it gets far more results than something like martial law. There is an anchor in the reality, but you have to want to see it, and bare an open mind. I have seen some of the meanest people become good people because they are at peace inside. That doesn't mean they will not fight back, just that they are content to not start a fight or be provoked easily. Like many people, I have seen just the opposite. There is a contintment and peace that can come with God. That doesn't mean that everybody will agree on God, politics plays a large role in it. That doesn't mean that God is all in our heads. Someone secure in their faith, (different than religion), usually does not get offended when someone else expresses their name for God. Usually people attack more often from fear and insecurity from inside, than evil. It does become a maze. Belief only benefits the person. Either way, it doesn't make you a bad person, nor does it make us enemies, we all have the same blood, same sky, same earth, IMO. You question, and that is the first step, that shows you think, which shows intelligence. Good luck on your journey for knowledge. |
