Once again you can't refute my claims so you attack me. I'm not spreading gossip, merely stating a fact about how Maxwell does his research. I'm not saying people shouldn't look into him. In fact I'm saying if people are going to accept his claims they should look into them with more scrutiny, since his methodology is suspect.

Some of his information is good. Of course, even a broken clock is right twice a day. But he distorts what words actually mean to meet his claims and that taints his claims as the etymology is the foundation of much of his arguments and sometimes are his whole argument. When faced with such shoddy research, one has to give a higher level of scrutiny to any of his reasoning before signing on to it. I don't believe his claims, not because they sound goofy, but because I have a background understanding of how languages work and looked into some of his stuff. Guess what? It doesn't pan out. As to Maxwell's 'deep' message, it's to put some good information mixed with a bunch of bullshit and new age claptrap. The good information he puts out is available elsewhere. He's not a guru and it's sad that you apparently think so.

I'm sorry you have so much personal idol worship or investment in his perspective that you can't see that it's highly dubious (being charitable) and that you can't tolerate legitimate criticism of his methods of 'research.' But that's the way things go I guess. One last thing, since you seem to have a problem with words, I decided to do your research for you. The former is what I was doing and the latter is what you claimed I was doing. It's no wonder you defend Maxwell if you can't even use a dictionary:

First, I am making a point so a critique would be much more accurate than gossip. Second, I am not discussing a rumor or idle talk, and unless you use a very broad interpretation of tattling to say that calling out faulty etymology is tattling I'm not doing that either. So am I being a godparent? Fuck off with your Gossip Central bullshit and go do some research your damn self before saying shit about me, not knowing my background and what I've looked into.
