Affirmative Action was created in the first place because of Intolerance of the whites to black and brown or asian. But overall if there would have been acceptance between the races, affirmative action would be null.

Well you can look at it that way if you want I guess, but it avoids the issue. Everyone in the US is totally
dependent on the system. That's a fact. So much has been centralized and co-opted that most people have
little to no control over their own lives. To say that isn't the top-down agenda and blaming people as being
lazy and ignorant only looks at one side of the issue. Sure some people truly just want to rely on the system
but most people just don't see any alternative. They don't have the resources to go elsewhere, and the
cities are designed as unsustainable traps. People don't see any alternatives.

Whether someone succeeds has less to do with personal ambition than it has to do with the resources
available. I know many lazy dumbasses who are "successful" simply because of their better access
to certain knowledge and personal contacts. As someone who has "made it" Bill could use his time to
help give better access to information to impoverished people so that they could become less "ignorant
and lazy." He could, seeing that there is a problem, decide to do something to help. But instead he gets
up on his soap box and re-enforces a disempowering message. Pointing out a symptom doesn't resolve
a problem.

The concept of blaming a "race" or ethnic group rather, is a little ridiculous especially considering that your individual identy is not defined by "race" and neigther are the "sins of the fathers" something you inherit. We wouldn't have even arrived to the concept of reperations based on past grievances if we lived in a world where yesterday's practices were still common place. Some have said that people in America need to lift themselves up. But you are leaving out the intangible human elements they must give up. They gain financial stability for what? Trade their heroes for ghosts.

There is a lot of arguing over race in here, but it's not about that. Power is what it's about. And rich folks can and will use any ethnic discord that benefits them.
