The Mask Slips, for Those with Eyes to See: Preparing for the Real Pandemic
FastTadPole - 2 of my daughter have had it (suspected) 2 grandkids (confirmed). It's no worse for them as a regular flu. They went through it well and pretty quick. Watch for the secondary infections. I think they all got a Z-Pack and they're all well.

The Mask Slips, for Those with Eyes to See: Preparing for the Real Pandemic
I was going for a walk around the block to get some D with my son and ran into a neighbour. I mentioned that he had H1N1 and was making a quick recovery. The children (3) cowered behind their mother and she instinctively 'spread her wings' to shield them from my 8 year old boy like he had airbourne leprosy then she quickly ended the conversation and retreated back and continued her route. From the terrified look in her eyes it seems the Canadian media have managed to instill fear in a good portion of the public.
My doctor / nurse was also so distracted with the H1N1 diagnosis they were amiss to mention the fact he had strep throat as well. We got a call 4 days later to casually point out the omission. There are no others, there is only us. http://FastTadpole.com/ |

The Mask Slips, for Those with Eyes to See: Preparing for the Real Pandemic
People are freaking out. My wife and I went to Red Lobster Friday. After I gave my order the waitress asked if I has a cold (raspy hoarse voice) I told her I had a sore throat. We got really crappy service after that. It got funny though, never knew you could pour tea at that angle that far away, lol. She also gave hateful looks throughout the evening.

The Mask Slips, for Those with Eyes to See: Preparing for the Real Pandemic
Thought this was interesting .. found it in a couple of frames of the Real Time with Bill Maher intro clip, not sure if this is a new thing or not, maybe just random, like the glowing halos over the Obama family, but whatever the case here they are ...
