Forgetful patients to be fitted with microchips to remind them to take their pills
Quote:Patients will be fitted with a microchip in their shoulder to remind them to take their medicine, under a new scheme being developed by a drugs company. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-...mind-pills.html The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. Look at the language they use in the propaganda alert:
you will be FITTED with a microchip... Ican understand a phrase such as 'fitteed with an artificial joint' but that makes literal sense.. the replacement does indeed FIT the human physiognomy...but a microchip? where does that fit? surely implanted would be a better term for them to use:rolleyes:It's clear indication that the rhetoric has shifted on the issue and that as the article otherwise suggests..kevlar is right, chips are just round the corner now. It really does get weirder and weirder |
