Quote:so typical for them to make a movie about it and distort it. have you seen behind enemy lines in Columbia? They made a movie about that and made the FARC look like monsters, columbian government and the U.S.A as saints. It is distorted. One thing that made not have been is the heavy gear, money, and intelligence thats being invested in columbia. They mentioned 100 billion a year in money, weapons, soldiers that is diverted into keeping columbia in chaos. Unite The Many, defeat the few. there are many movies that come out that are similar in nature, body of lies another one. they are all pushing the same shit.
have you ever looked at how many tv shows and movies involve the government, intelligence angencies or terrorism of some form. if you take out those topics you are not left with many. even lost, they just had to include an iraqi torturer as a member of the island. then heroes the 2nd last episode of this season they include an iraqi war vet, meanwhile the entire 3 seasons have been completely abstract from reality. now season 4 is going to be a government agency that is hunting them down. not to mention shows that are just about intelligence agencies, alias, 24, spooks i could go on and on. this is all brainwashing. |

Not only that but it's memetic brainwashing. Memes are 'released' into the populace who then disperse/propagate and hybridise them. As a general rule in society we keep each other brainwashed imho; to make matters worse many such memes hinge around askew concepts of pride, guilt, ethics, taboo and morality etc. ..essentially anything which makes us feel secure or insecure.
And castigation of uncommonly held thoughts is prevalent in groups - which, as crazy conspiracy theorists we already know too well. As soon as ideas take hold they become societal drivers.. if you place the meme of your own construction in a well chosen place and situation-(which will be to your favour anyway after a period of releasing memes crafted to desired ends), you essentially govern and preempt the future. The best part about a good viral meme for a psychopathic social engineer is that once it is out there the public do the work for you. imo Unfortunately people are, by and large, so busy keeping their heads above water that they will often willingly accept pre-packaged opinions and beliefs without considering too deeply the meanings of what they propound. An example of how insidious this can be might be something like: " Jews are generally more intelligent than 'Blacks'" I do not know what the etymology of 'ism' is. |

yes i agree, how i more often than not hear people spout the same slogans over and over again during discussions of political or economic or realy any conversation with any substance. They have created rhetoric speaking population that does their work for them. That was a great point you made. what sort of a meme could be used to exploit the situation at a later stage, i understand what you mean but if you could give an example of one that could be used say in a work environment. as i just cant understand that part.

Sorry Kev, only just saw this. I think the best thing to do would be to just put in a few different search phrases and read from there. http://groups.yahoo.com/phrase/memetics http://www.skilluminati.com/research/entry...ge_on_memetics/ |

memetics seems to me more like a cultural craze then a tool released to brainwash its victims. would be an interesting twist to think about the way the memes actually affect the individual. i was reading about memetics on wikipedia and came across this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Lynch He spent time on looking at how memes or Thought Contagion as he calls it can brainwash the individual. very interesting stuff, thanks |
