Nero problems
I am having trouble with my Nero program. I cannot get it to copy dvds anymore. Is there a Free burner that is easy to use? Just something I can copy discs with. Thanks a million if someone can help.

That's weird... My Nero stopped burning DVD's last night. Fails every time.:(
Imgburn is supposed to be a good simple and free burning program. Nero problems
About 4 years ago, myself, frazzled, and at least 2 other people I know personally, could suddenly not read DVDs any more. AFAIK, it happened in a 24 hour period.

That is strange.
I uninstalled Nero then installed Ahampoo's Burning Suite with out a restart and burns still failed. Even after a restart, Ashampoo failed. So, I updated the firmware of the DVD drive and restarted and now Ashampoo works fine. :unsure: I wonder if Nero messes with device firmware when blacklisted serials are detected? I didn't even think to save a copy of the old one to check it out. It sounds like the ECM's that Dish used to send before events to corrupt eeprom's of receivers. Everyone went down at once if they used a particular blocker code and had to reflash the chips to get back up.
