Not a single person has bothered to re-donate in the week since PayPal froze the account. I just thought I'd like to remind you all that this place will no longer exist in 20 days if the $300 I refunded from the PayPal shutdown is not re-donated, or at least half of it.

You can donate by signing up for a great alternative to PayPal called http://payza.com . Eventually there will be buttons and a sexy donation page but in the meantime you need to go directly to their site.

If ConCen goes down because of PayPal (which I'm guessing was caused by that motherfucker Epinnoia), then let me say in advance this is one shitty way to go down...

not trying to be a smartass, especially since I haven't donated (which I feel shitty about,) but did you email the people who you refunded to ask them to send it back when you got a system figured out? As far as I knew, you were still sussing out which online option to use a couple days ago. I completely understand the frustration, and maybe you weren't trying to come off rude, but if I had donated before the refund, I might take offense to the thread title. Its not really a great idea to insult those that have a record of supporting this place, and its not their fault that the shit went down with Asshat McCumbubble.

Not yet. I was going to do that in a couple of days. Maybe I mistakenly assumed that they would wonder why they got the refund in the first place and visit the site.

BTW, there have always been at 2 ways to donate which do not require PayPal - echecks and snail mail.

I hope this site doesn't go,... for what it is worth I noticed a drop off of people contributing torrents here. For instance most of the RBN stuff and Rense are now elsewhere instead of here. I don't know the circumstances and its none of my business, but the good uploaders are gone from here and so is the material too. Perhaps that is a factor affecting donations to the site as well. I been trying to maintain a good ratio (5.10) to do my share through bandwidth, maybe that is no longer good enough.

For me it is not that I do not want to donate I honestly am not able to do so at least with money. I will not bore you all with why but if I was in a position to do so I would. I try to at least donate back with some bandwidth which that is limited as well since I am on a shitty provider aka comcast. Since I am not downloading as much anymore I do try to leave what I do download on longer. I also am still seeding what torrents I have submitted. If there is something I can do to help in some other way I would be glad to do it but I am honestly short on funds and will be for a few more years unless some miracle happens.

To be honest I did create a PayZa account on Friday, but found it so hard to figure out how to donate, I gave up on Friday. Now I tried again by adding a MasterCard & donate 15 USD. What a disappointment. They say they can't process MasterCard, only Visa. I have some foreign exchange money £5 + Russian 100 or some Turkish money, would it be okay to send them over by snail mail? I don't have any dollars lying around.

There is direct donation using Flattr.com.
"This feature can only be used to donate money to people, not to things."

It costs 0.3 euros + 2% of amount to add money for donation onto the account. Flattr will take 10% of the donated amount on the receiver's account.
Direct donations are anonymous and aggregated.

Any currency is acceptable since I live in a tourist city, but I use CDN currency.
