PayPal froze the account!
As of today the PayPal account has been frozen for violating their terms of service. I wonder who we have to thank for that?
Anyway, at least the money in the account has been refunded to the donors, so the bastards at PayPal cannot use it for their own purposes. To those who have been issued refunds, please reconsider sending the donation via snail mail or direct email through your bank.

RE: PayPal froze the account!
Hi,
I was confused when I got the refund. How do I re-donate through email? When I click on donate via mail link in Firefox, it won't open. It is stuck half-through. |

It should open your default email program with an email addressed to donate@concen.org. Check your system settings for the default email program. Anyway you can't donate using your email program. You need to do it via your bank or another service.

I hope you will look at further options for taking donations since I do not live in the US and therefore cannot donate via email or have a dollar account to pay by snail mail.

We are looking at all options. Where do you live? Does your bank not provide the ability to send money to an email address? Most do. All Canadian banks have had this ability for many years, as do most UK and Australian banks. As for snail mail, I live in Canada's capital city, so I can exchange pretty much any currency easily.

RE: PayPal froze the account!
Interac E-Transfers work for me using TD or RBC in Canada. You can send through interac email money transfer but the bank gets a dollar or so unless you have some kind of service plan that allows it or just counts it as a transaction.
I'm not sure what our European friends have exactly but likely something similar. I'd be curious as to what Email Money Transfers are dubbed as across the pond. There are no others, there is only us. http://FastTadpole.com/ |

BitCoin would only be an option if it was part of a suite of options.
