RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
maybe ppl´d be more interested in helping you out if you did anything other than ask for invites and we got to know you. check out some of the threads here that sound interesting to you. Post some comments on them... and check out concen.org/tracker.
Sorry if I sounded a little curt. one of my pet peeves is invite fishing with no indication that you´ll respect the gift. I don´t know you from a hole in the wall and the vault and occult both hold you responsible for those you invite, (and they´re pretty strict over there,) so even if I had invites to hand out (which I don´t,) the fact that you don´t have any ratio here (right?) means that there´s no way for us to know if our invites are wasted on you. My suggestion? whatever search you did to get here and ask us for invites will pop up with more than one tracker and or forum. Join them, be active, build a ratio over time (if possible) and people will most likely hook you up.

RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
Are they really good sites or something? Doesnt most of the torrents make it over to us here at concen anyhow> Wouldnt mind checking it out myself sometime if anyone has a spare invite and deems the hot-headed (at times) nwo2012 worthy of such greatness.

RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
occult´s probably the most comprehensive tracker of mystic-related torrents online, and they´re very exclusive. People who have joined still don´t gain access to all the torrents until they reach a higher level aka ¨neophyte,¨ ¨adept,¨ and so on, requiring ratio, upload/download minimum and time as a member. They also have group buys that are shared among those who purchase, then later on the tracker, as well as certain files that the upper can classify as ¨exclusive¨ meaning that if one ups it elsewhere and is found out, they get banned.
That being said, you have to really be into the stuff they have there in order to get invites or move up the ranks - you need to have a 1:1 ratio with ten or more GB dl´ed plus a minimum membership time in order to get one. There´s good stuff there that you can´t get elsewhere, but it´s hard to keep in their good graces. Their upload requirements are really stringent, the .nfo´s have a number of inflexible requirements as well as format labelling rules that are just kind of overkill, IMO. if I weren´t using this type of info for some stuff I´m writing, I´d probably have a difficult time keeping within their requirements.

RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
It's hard to take seriously someone who has been here less than a day... asking for an invite to an exclusive, private tracker. Especially since our invitee's bad behavior could affect our own membership.
Why would we risk our membership on someone who has no demonstrated track record of keeping good up/down ratios and civil forum behavior? Maybe if those desiring an invite would fill some of the requests here, they may make a more attractive invitee to the places in question? Read some of the requests: http://concen.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=38 ps - But I'd have to disagree with one point above: Isn't it rather easy to maintain a good up/down ration on theoculty for those with eyes to see? (hint: free download of the week costs no d/l ratio but counts on upload...) * What if the solution is simple & free?: http://www.youtube.com/nv3p * Choose Freedom & Be the Change: http://concen.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=36698 |

RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
What if we learn how to manage problem children, while maintaining a high level of expectation of excellence in quality of contributions, could we then expect the cream to rise to the top?
Most people typically rise to their level of incompetence, and rarely go beyond their expectations. How many things become self-fulfilling prophecies when one expects the worst? Isn't that the very definition of "conspiracy"? Paranoid imagination seeing evil plots upon which to place blame, instead of taking responsibility for and correcting one's own mistakes? What would happen if there was no 'evil plotters' out to get us? Nobody to blame for our choice of playing victim? Could we change our behavior, make different choices, and find a way to better our circumstances where we come out on top? Is there anything wrong with expecting the best out of people, and taking 100% responsibility for everything we have direct control over? If there is nobody to blame, would we then have the freedom to change for the better? * What if the solution is simple & free?: http://www.youtube.com/nv3p * Choose Freedom & Be the Change: http://concen.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=36698 |

Quote:What if we learn how to manage problem children, while maintaining a high level of expectation of excellence in quality of contributions, could we then expect the cream to rise to the top? what does this have to do with occult dot bz? In my current scenario it has more to do with limited bandwidth and upload speed. I have tons of shit I could upload and tons of of shit that I already have uploaded that I can no longer claim credit for, and some of it was pretty rare when I put it up... my last acct there I had a ratio of over 2.2, but I hadn´t downloaded more than 10GB´s(to get invites), and as Yeti pointed out, I was inactive for a while so I got ¨culled.¨ that´s a pretty shitty practice if you ask me. Íf you dl the free files (not only do they sometimes run in the dozens of Gigs,) you have to have strong upload capability to be able to catch leachers that wanna dl from you - that may be all well and good for those who are willing to pay through the nose for high-speed or use mommy and daddy´s connection, but for those of us who use public wireless, the ability to function within ther structure can be difficult.

RE: theoccult.bz and thevault.bz
You will not find yourself with an invite to any private trackers here unless you've established a good ratio on ConCen's tracker and have participated in the forums while demonstrating the ability to interact with people rationally. This goes particularly to anyone whose title says "Potential Member" or even "Newbie".
If you believe that changing your forum title will get you an invite, you are sadly mistaken. While it's certainly possible to block spiders from accessing invite-related forums, I'm sure ConCen gets some decent users sticking to it as a result of these posts. ---Truth appears in many forms.
