Welcome to ConCen wim00, checking it all might take a while, so take your time, and do note, you can always request a reseed on unseeded tracker content.

Thanks for pulling up and checking in wim00. May ConCen be fertile ground for your mind and soul to grow and branch out but be wary of the hives and rabbit holes.

RE: Hi to all, newb in the house
Thanks all, for advice, links and warm welcomes. Went to the Occupy Bristol (UK) event for a few hours on Saturday where I met someone I'd not seen for 20+ years. Very peaceful and calm event - so many interesting folks gathered together and chatting about our current situation and potential solutions. One of my interests is in debt free money and Regional Banking and I got a few good leads to chase up from my conversations. Now its back to work, health permitting :-(

Hi, always good to see new blood here. Good you are actively involved in the occupy movement. It does lack direction but at least it's an oppotunity to pass ideas around. When you say health permitting, do you have health issues? Download some of the natural healing torrents such as The Beautiful Truth for enlightenment and attainment of great health as I and mine have. Wink

It's great that more and more of us from the UK are not only joining Concen, but becoming more voiced and conversational.

Myself, I currently live in Snowdonia (Wales) but was born in Gloucestershire, so am very familiar with that area of the world, especially considering I spent most of my childhood growing up in Devon Big Grin I miss the area somewhat, and if it wasn't for the beauty of this area and the rurality I'd have moved back a long time ago.

Maybe in the future some of us could arrange a "meet up", maybe co-ordinated with another event some of us could cover.

I've met a few members now, though only one that I knew was a member before meeting, and have a fair few friends on the forum.

Anyway, enjoy being part on the Concen community (which really is more often than not like a family).

Hi again Dunamis - would be glad to take up the offer. Tried using the PM function to drop you some contact info but that part of the account is not functioning from the CP.

That's simply because of the low count of your posts, one 5 are made (if you reply to this Wink) you go from a "Potential Member" to a Newbie Smile It's simply measures to stop the spammer swarms, but maybe being able to PM should be allowed...at least to moderators. I'll mention it.

Thx all, I will give the pm a go after this. Never one to read the question closely enough at school... I didn't spot your comment on my health NWO ... Yep, wound up in hospital & been here nearly a week! I will be over in the health zone! On the plus side this episode has finally motivated me to quit smoking & I knocked the wine on the head about a month ago when this started to flare. I will be back stronger and more focused :-)

I'm officially straightedge now after a bout with the flu (2nd time I've been sick this year and 4th in five years) and getting a kickstart in quitting the nicotine habit. I was drinking once or thrice a year, smoking a pack every couple of days, been beating back cravings for harder drugs that I had a short relationship with many years ago, I'm done with coffee, never really smoked weed, don't ingest processed foods and haven't done the promiscuous sex thing for more than a decade now. It took awhile but I'm done with it. All of it.

But when it comes down to it; it's not what you don't do -- it's what you DO.

It just helps to go about doing what you intend to do with a clear head, open eyes and a clean conscience. Straightedge (without the trendy tatts and gang mentality but a healthy amount of old school punk) is just my way of being a better me and more true to myself and what I set out to do, for my family, my community and myself and to do that you have to put yourself first in the mix.

I've been coughing up black stuff for over a week now. I must have been a deep inhaler. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Best results I've had in getting off of shit is in a group will power alone had me white knuckling it. Yeah I did the AA thing and I'm not really endorsing it as much as I am advocating the power in a group support network in overcoming something specific or conquering something challenging or challenging new boundaries - like certain slices ConCen does with status quo thinking and philosophy.

Kudos on the public proclamation wim00, whatever inspired it.

There are no others, there is only us.
