I posted earlier about which program to use to create a video and I would like to thank all of you for your recommendations. I ended up (for now) going with ProShow Producer. I threw together a 15 min deal to test out the programs capabilities and what-not would dig a bit of critique. Powerful stuff. The text is good, the music is great. My only criticism is the pace is a little slow.

BTW, I agree that using a cell phone while driving is dangerous. I'm a good driver but I've almost gotten into accidents while using one. Also, it's "PR ad", not PR add". You may want to consider removing the cell phone bit altogether since it is less important than the rest of the message.

Thank you! Yeah, I thought the pace was a little slow andI had reservations about the cell phone bit. I wanted to touch on some of the intrusions into our personal space but keep it short. It does kind of sit there incongruously. I, too, have had a close call or two whilst talking on my phone while driving which is why I use a bluetooth, however, I don't think it's the gov'ts place to restrict us from the option of doing so. Accidents happen. Could be a cell phone, a cheeseburger, or the radio.
Anyhow, thank you much for the feedback!

1 Man, that music. It was made for us. Next year it'll probably be over-used & just a little too familiar, but I think you made the right decision in using it now. Huge plus!

2 Consensual (10.12) - can't remember how you spelled it but I noticed it was wrong.

3 Gunpowder - superfluous hyphen not required.

4 At 10.30 where you talk about peeps waking up, then waking others, try to find something growing, like a virus simulation or a bed of flowers or something. Root it in the psyche. Similarly, if you create a section decribing how the elites fuck things up, remember to ram this home with a clip of some vegetables rotting or something disgusting and smelly like that. Addressing the viewer on several levels of sensory awareness simultaneously often works well.

5 At 10.52 - "will be able to say the same thing?" Maybe make this a separate slide? They need to consider this properly cos it'll play on guilt and prick at their sense of responsibility.

Also, that Krishnamurti quote brought to mind some Jungian quotes for some reason. Maybe you'll find a place for one of them:

On a general note, I think you could lose lots of black slides to regain some pace. Also, when you start to show US thugs and the music picks up, the slow fade through black kinda holds things back. I think I'd start using a more punchy transition at that point.

And finally, you begin the vid with an appeal to humanity and a focus on world suffering, but later, you start talking to Americans specifically. It's a debatable point, but I'd stick with the global theme and call on humanity itself to redress the balance.

Hope that's helpful and doesn't sound like a whole bunch of nit-picking. I enjoyed the vid so far.

Thank you very much, Potter. I will definitely take all those things into consideration. I thought that the transitions were a bit slow. At the beginning when I show the starving, disease and war slides I kept them as slow as they are to give the viewer a chance really see what the slide was portraying, but later on it definitely should pick up pace. I agree that by next the music will be all over the place. I loved the movie and when I saw it in "The Arrivals" I was blown away at the effect it had, musically speaking.
