RE: The anti-Israeli conspiracy
None of it should be excused. I have a sick feeling that many Israelis will suffer for what the government has done on their behalf. The US government hasn't built up a lot of good will lately either. It's a PR game and we don't hear a lot of criticism of China, Russia or India in the media circus. Not much out of Africa or South America either.
It's all middle east all the time when talking about foreign policy unless there is a natural disaster then they make it a global issue, more often than not. Russia just cut off power to Belarus, nary a peep over here. India is basically chipping their population via cell phone and Chinese tyranny is taking over the planet by economic, legal, media and military means - mostly by proxy. The only time Canada makes international headlines is when a police car is set ablaze in a bait trap (see G20 and Stanley Cup Final). Not saying the Mid-East is not important, any atrocity should be dealt with on a case by case basis, every lie should see the light of day for all to see but everything that goes on there between Pakistan and Israel tends to be reported with a partisan slant to it. There are no others, there is only us. http://FastTadpole.com/ |
