Sun News Network Makes Up Story Slamming Jack Layton

Wow, a unnamed police officer allegedly told a Toronto
Sun reporter that Jack Layton was found in a bawdy house.

There is no proof, no police report and no police notes. There
is only hearsay.

The CRTC's website is down. I wonder if the server was
swamped by Canadians complaining or was it hacked
by Conservatives to prevent complaints

Yes another smear campaign which will be retracted following the election. This was done in BC years ago when the night before election day an ad ran on the CTV or CBC or both to the effect that if the NDP was elected the Forestry industry would shut down, it said that the ads were paid for by the BC Forestry council, I don't remember the exact name but it was an organization composed of all the forestry companies in BC. No ads of a political nature were allowed that close to the election. The NDP lost and the Forestry companies denied paying for the ads and nothing else was done to determine who was behind the conspiracy.

Nothing like leaking the details of an investigation done by an alleged person who is not a police officer, guilt before conviction.

With Harper's majority and the NDP tripling
their seats, these questions beg to be asked;

Did this story have any effect on the election?

And if not, did the news of Bin Laden's death
trump the story?
