The MONOPOLY Analogy

It's their game. I'll present the limited scenario in the parable of a Monopoly game.



It looks like normal Monopoly the rules are laid out for all 5 of us to see. I choose the Shoe as I'm a tad partial to it. Things are going pretty good for me after a few dozen times around the board I've managed to assemble the Red Colour Set of Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana Avenue, with Short Line and Reading Railroad along with Water Works. Ahead of the game, livin' large things are looking up and I save up for a few houses.

All of them somehow never roll the dice and land on my property. However I build my little green houses and get charged a penance every time 'round the board citing property taxes. Then the rules suddenly change without warning.

Every time someone besides me lands on the go to jail space they instead go directly to free parking and get to take gobs of money from the bank. Regulations are put on my property and make it so I can't develop on it citing sustainable development laws instantiated by some committee I had never heard of and that some endangered gnat is living on my property. The houses are then taken away from me and I am not permitted to rebuild despite filing the proper paperwork and my pleadings to the other players.

It is then decided that I cannot own Water Works since they have given the contract to someone else. They threaten me with jail if I do not give it to the Top Hat guy for $20 (deemed a fair price). I comply.

They trade among themselves and complete all the other colour sets build a bunch of hotels. They somehow slip $1000 dollars from the bank every time they pass GO. I ask why - they claim it is a bank bonus.

What luck! I land on one of the few remaining properties left, Marvin Gardens. I'm thrilled to get an opportunity to buy it. Pfft, I'm a bit short on cash so I mortgage Illinois and Indiana since I can't build on them anyways. I manage to get enough funds from the bank to buy Marvin Gardens, provided I pay back $500. I'm desperate so I agree to the terms even though I know I'm being hustled.

I'm a few spaces from GO and I'm about to get $200 (well $110 after taxes) my next roll so I can pay off that debt that was hanging over me. Then the bank calls back my loan. I plead and say I can get them next roll but they take my mortgaged properties via foreclosure. Damn!

A 'consensus' is reached and they say due to a property devaluation they need to take the rest of my cash and properties. Double Damn!

The Battleship, The Top Hat, Iron and Dog all consolidate to form a numbered corporation. The colour groups are now all viable for building on, and permits are fast tracked. Hotels go up everywhere. I can't escape the foregone conclusion and eventually land on Baltic (with a hotel) and get cleaned out.

I go bankrupt. Game over.

I flip over the table in disgust and realize they have a money printing machine under there along with a couple of underage prostitutes that they are slipping $20s to. Unbelievable, how did I not notice this before?

I call a buddy to tell him about what I've discovered the next day, post it up on my BookFace page warning people to not to play this rigged game with these guys. Within 20 minutes of posting my BookFace account is closed .. WTF¿ Then the authorities come over and arrest me citing that I was using hate speech and posted defamatory comments. Also I was deemed a terrorist to boot and sent to a secret hidden prison in Kuwait.

The quotation above was lifted from a response by a commenter to theblacksentinel’s article titled, Ron Paul – Racist Babble or Forward Thinking. This correlation is so appropriate that I wish I had thought of it. Regardless, let’s take a look at the board game of Monopoly and how adept it is as an analogy for the economic conditions between the black and white races here in America.

A Monopoly game starts and all the players that are allowed to play are white. Each gets fifteen hundred dollars and each will start from the same place on the board at the very same time. When the game is started each of the white players race around the board to buy up all the property. They buy up all the utilities and the railroads. Each of the white players buy up everything they can. And each time these players pass GO they are anointed with another two hundred dollars. The players exchange properties with each other. They are building up monopolies and they start to build houses and hotels. One of the players collects both utilities. Another player collects all the railroads. All the properties have been bought up and developed so landing on them can be pretty expensive. But it’s okay because all the players own some kind of property and so money goes back and forth across the board. The players know that what they pay to someone now will come back to them later.
Now that the board is developed we will allow the black player to come on board. The black player is given fifteen hundred dollars and starts at GO just like everyone else did. However, the black player has no chance to buy any property. The very first place he/she stops at will charge rent to the tune of two hundred dollars. The next time the black player moves cost another three hundred dollars. The next time the black player moves the rent is four hundred dollars. The player will be lucky to make it around the board once without going broke. If the player could just land on the Community Chest and the Chance spots they might be able to get by.

The Community Chest and the Chance represent the black player’s best chance of trying to get anything out of the white players. Hopefully the black player will get one of those cards that says the bank will make an error in the black player’s favor and he/she will get twenty dollars. Whoopty goddamn do! Or maybe the black player will get that card that forces the other players to give fifty dollars each. Without any real property for the other players to land on this will be the best chance the black player could ever have of getting any reciprocity from the other players. The white players call this type of income welfare or a handout and want to get rid of any positive Chance and Community Chest cards that might benefit the black player.

The black player could hole up in the free parking spot for a hot minute. But the white players are just salivating over the black player going broke by landing on their properties. The relief of landing on the free parking is only for a moment. Even Baltic Avenue can send the black player into an economic tailspin that will trigger their financial demise.

And wouldn’t you just know it. Somehow the black player is the one who always seems to land on the Go To Jail spot and has to spend three turns in jail. White players land there as well but somehow they are able to afford the legal bill to pay their way out or to get a pardon or a commuted sentence. All the white players will have a Get Out of Jail Free card waiting to be used. But for many black players the jail represents a reprieve from having to compete in a game that is so stacked against him/her. The white players continue to go around the board buying and selling with each other while the black player eeks out an existence of just getting by.

But inevitably, the black player will land on a spot that will be financially devastating. With no money and no property to barter the player has no choice but to bow out of the game and hang around with no existence while the white players continue to play. Without the other players agreeing to do something to give the black player an equal footing for the lost time the white players were able to amass wealth and property the black player in the Monopoly game will have little chance at surviving let alone winning the game.

The only problem is that in the reality of here and now, the black community doesn’t really have the choice of just bowing out of the game and existing while the white people continue to play. We still have to obtain food, a place to stay, obtain some kind of medical care, clothing, transportation, and all of the other things that help make life tolerable. The white community that for centuries kept black people from participating now wants the black community to take part as an equal in this game when they have been the benefactors of a colossally huge head start. No one would ever want to play Monopoly under these conditions. But somehow this is supposed to be fair to the real life black player known as the general black community.

It is so true that the abysmal conditions that the black community is going through is just like a Monopoly game. Now that white people have this huge head start they want to let the black community come on in and are surprised when we say this is unfair and we need an adjustment to get our footing as a collective. Yes relatively speaking a handful of black people can make it. But the only blacks that do make it are the ones that find some white person that will give them the chance to show their talent to shoot a hoop or score a touch down or sing a song or swing a club. And when these naturally talented black people succeed they no longer are part of the black community but of the generic dominant society helping to subjugate the remaining black community. The average black person has no real opportunity to gain any equal footing on his/her own. The deck of cards in this game has been stacked too heavily against us.

So true, actually a newborn to day is born into debt slavery. Deep in the hole $92,000+ each - every man woman and child and that's just national debt, not including personal, business and state debt. No matter if what colour we are.

Yup there was slavery. There was a stealthy social engineering via welfare to break up strong black families in the US too. Division. Civil Rights was brought in just as darker toned folk were beginning to be perceived as just folk with darker toned skin. The meme was wearing off and the Klan (many being paid agents) roused things up some more. Division. Exactly like the fake provocateurs at the SPP and the G20 summits.

There was guns and drugs pumped into black communities just like meth, heroin, crack and coke are being pushed on young white kids now. Division. There was the gangster culture program, just like it is with white kids both attributable to media programming.

Am I guilty because I am of a lighter skin tone, not a bit. That's your programming. People are not that way in Brazil or Canada although white guilt/hate and the black victim/hate mindset is working it's way up here with the influx of American media.

I prefer to highlight the commonalities and turn our focus on the centrist bankers or, better yet, rejecting their fake currency and building up something new. Together or apart. The less you are controlled, the less I am controlled and we can both express our personal individuality freely outside of the collectivist boxes of culture, race, religion, sex and social class.

It is only when we own our thoughts can we truly be free from the shackles of our common tyranny.

Almost forgot. I'd come on to this thread while looking for a post I did employing the exact same analogy but from the perspective of the illusion money used as a control device to take our land and means of production - our real wealth. It's a rigged game and together we can make the choice to treat it as such, get up and walk away.

It's mostly focused on Moorish ideas, but the main thing that hit me was how after the 'emancipation proclamation' no one was freed but the designation of property was changed.

The same way that everyone is birthed into the world by maritime law, the deeds of property were changed in designation.

I mean no offense in saying, as no one is anything I might say they are, that we have all become niggers as far as chattel property is concerned.

The same thing that was able to be traded at the time, an individuals life and work, is still a marketed commodity, and we are all subject to it.

I highly recommend that docu for anyone interested in the freeman perspective, as it not only gave me new insight into how it works, but also an appreciation for the historical precedent and racism that the 'elites' have maintained throughout.
