‘Minority Report’ technology used by police to predict crimes
Quote:Two police forces have begun trialling the sophisticated programme, which has echoes of the Tom Cruise film Minority Report, where psychics are used to stop criminals before they commit a crime. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/c...rimes.html The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. RE: ‘Minority Report’ technology used by police to predict crimes
I think that is efficient and innovative use for the technology. As long as they don't provoke crime to justify or get funding for it and start arresting people for being predisposed to criminal behaviour. Crimminals and people are smarter than that and will avoid the heat spots. That just shifts crime around t doesn't mitigate it. To do that, people just have to have respect for eachother. It can be learned in families and nurtured by communities.

RE: ‘Minority Report’ technology used by police to predict crimes
the police are capable of some real bullshit. you know the english newspaper media is full of articles from the police and the from the military. The entire time it is information supplied by the police or pictures of the dead people in the military. For a whole week sometimes we have to see a picture of a dead solider.
