Quote:Oracle octopus picks another winner I don't say this all too often, but maybe PETA has a point: Quote:A psychic German octopus called 'Paul' could find himself on the menu if frustrated football fans get their way. Famous for predicting world cup winners, he has a 100 percent record following Spain's defeat over Germany yesterday. But now his owner has received death threats and even recipe suggestions from football supporters who have found their teams on the wrong side of his predictive powers. Paul will no doubt suck up the pressure ahead of Germany's game against Uruguay this Saturday.

RE: Paul the psychic octopus recieves death threats
I can't believe Paul guessed the World Cup. What a crazy cephalopod.
I just wanted to say, no offense to the OP, fuck PETA. They are a highly calculating, wealth accruing, deceptive organization of crazy whack jobs who use a love of animals to hide their inherently self-loathing, sociopathic ideology that invariably supports eugenics, population control, and invasive government. They have no dignity and no legitimacy as an organization and exist solely on the deception of, and predation on, their supporters. A truly evil cabal of truly dangerous incubates for the New World Mentality, that which will be required of all good subjects of the New World Order, that of a humanity turned violently against itself. &We grow to recognize form. We grow to label that form. In doing so, do we become more intelligent? Do we become more awakened?& - Siji Tzu 四季子 |

RE: Paul the psychic octopus recieves death threats
None taken... Bash away at PETA all you want. They are pretty fucking crazy.
that's why I said this in the OP: Quote:I don't say this all too often, but maybe PETA has a point "that invariably supports eugenics, population control" I've never heard examples of either of these though. Care to elaborate?

RE: Paul the psychic octopus recieves death threats
The only good thing PETA ever did was have Tricia Helfer in one of their ads.
http://geeksofdoom.com/GoD/img/2008/news...eta_lg.jpg Even that had a pretty shitty tagline. "If you have to be human, at least be humane" More hate yourself for being born what you are propaganda. /retch As far as paul is concerned, methinks he'd make a few mighty tasty calamari rings. “I'm not from earth. I'm here on a research project. I'm preparing a paper on the psychosomatic ailments of pre-Apocalyptic condominium dwellers.” -Sappho, Ash Ock The Mushrooms once said to me "You must have a plan.
