I have a lot going on at the moment in RL which makes it difficult to focus properly on this idea...my idea was to slog on with it until it finally got rolling but luckily that is not now necessary as there is another outlet for an audio project - and tbh, I could do without the added hassle at the moment. Lot of bizarre RL stuff going on..

If you were up for making a roundtable in the days to come -- please PM FastTadpole ; as he has something up and running now and is keen to get it onto shoutcast blogtalk radio etc - which is wonderful and exactly the direction it should be headed in.

I lost my shoutcast guy -- like I said in the other thread he's vanished without a trace (¿).

I was more or less asking people on behalf of all the audio projects what would be the best practices in terms of equipment, distribution, recording, software and post process techniques.

If we're going to do something do it up nice. Only reason I upped the TOPiXX.RADi0 was since my boy really wanted to do it str8 up raw wih no research or prep and I gave in cuz he was hit with a passion bomb. he also wanted to release some stuff of his singing but we decided we could use some more practice and better equipment.

I can't roll this weekend, and neither can SiLvA. I'll be wrapping up some projects soon so I'll have some time to look into creating a better audio broadcast.

Anyone want to look into sites where you can post radio and provide us the details so we can pick one or three to up these to?

I'm clearing a day off next week to master the audio / SKype recording thing , but busy as hell on a multitude of projects, my net went out yesterday, so I'm a bit behind on things. Nik has bailed temporarily, not sure on Joe, SiLvA's status is posted above. Have yet to hear form icosaface. Deathanyl seems keen. Haven't heard from TriWooOx, working on trying to give brainphreak a nudge. Not sure on h3r35's interest in the radio thang. mastermg's living long and prosper. April is there but only in a moral support role. Most peeps haven't even added me as a Skype contact (psst... it's listed below below).

As to everyone else it's open doors and all ages and anyone can host this thing. To be clear I'm not running the show, we are. Feel free to take the initiative and rock the mic. Just post up here with ~33 hours notice so everyone has ample notice.

What the best software to record with? Give me the shortlist and I'll audit them. I've been suggested using a combo of Wavepad, Audacity and Skype Recorder.

I've looked into it for 5 minutes and assembled a few others:
