I was going to post some tracks from that album last week and never got around to it.

RE: Political Hip Hop & Rap
Don't know if this has been posted yet; nevertheless, it's a great track. If just one person does it, they may think he's really sick. If two people do it, they may think they're both faggots. If three people do it, they may think it's an organization. And can you imagine fifty people a day, I said fifty people a day? Friends, they may thinks it's a movement, and that's what it is. |

I really like that whole album quite a bit...except for the Lil' Wayne appearance. That's the worst rapping I've heard since I tried to.

Quote:I was going to post some tracks from that album last week and never got around to it. I'd seen the ads for a month, and thought the pairing was odd - the things I'd seen didn't say they'd dropped an album together... I even considered buying the tickets for my current lady and I as a Bday gift to myself, but figured with the amount of tweak that was floating around at the last bay-area hip-hop show I'd been to, it was better to trek to the redwoods alone and expand my consciousness to include those ancient beings, then take the next day off to reflect. If I had heard the stuff, I would have gone... My body's clock was all out of whack, and I was up 'till 5:30 AM anyway. I love turntable work...

I dont get why other rappers want to put him on their albums. Maybe because he makes them all sound good in comparison? I dont know, always thought he sucked, but Im always hearing people say how much they like him and how good he is...that shit damn near sends me into a blind rage.

I agree with you, Silva. Although I'm a guitar player and not a rapper...I only rap as a joke.

"embedding disabled by request. watch on youtube" tight track though. Is that Tom Morello on guitar, or an imitator... Wow, I must be more stoned than I thought... it's right there in the title... I'd love to see Rocha drop in a freestyle on this one... call me nostalgic.

RE: Political Hip Hop & Rap
I changed the link on that one so it plays here now.
I would like to hear Zak on a track as well. Here's another good track with Tom Morello from the new disc. “Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. ” -Nikola Tesla "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." -Jimi Hendrix |

RE: Political Hip Hop & Rap
this one ain't exactly hip-hop, but it fits with the last one, and pops up when you search for "bassnectar hip-hop..." and I figure it'd pretty much be the cure for any song that might get stuck in your head - it always works for me. this one's more hip-hop... but what are hip-hop's "boundaries?" ...give it 5 minutes...
