This fits right here, probably deserves its own thread but those interested will enjoy this...
A 2 part interview with Saigon - about 15-16 minutes total Part 1- touches on his "beef" with Prodigy, the new album, the crack game, makin more positive music... http://videos.onsmash.com/v/wzVqLGseQZ1Eu5vu Part 2- he talks about a book an associate of his wrote. Also touches on conditioning, infiltration and coersion by TPTB, and even his own possible demise at their hands for "shakin shit up"... http://videos.onsmash.com/v/HfsQIeLQnBB2WTPX "Listen to everyone, read everything, believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research" ~William Cooper DTTNWO! |

I saw a while ago someone uploaded Murs...in case anyone interested, here's this new CD he dropped. Its not an official album of sorts, label problems so in the meantime he released this. Its pretty good. Not all the songs are him. Some are other guys. the last 2 tracks are a mix of older songs with Murs rapping...pretty cool.

your so right. hip hop mainstream style is dead and has been for a long time. i lost faith and only listened to house music, DnB for a long time, cuz it all started to suck so bad. this was in 2000 or so... then a cpl yrs later as we started gettin good with findin music online we soon found out how much good shit is being pumped out all the time from underground cats. theres tons of serious hip hop out there, but like was stated above, none of the good shit is really known about by too many. its never promoted to the masses.
look for these cats on the torrents, limewire, etc. : living legends zion i ohmega watts crown city rockers (live hip hop) lyrics born murs (living legends) styles of beyond acey alone j live paris Mr Lif little brother life savas that should get you started. and of course roots, mod def, and common. and on top of that, LISTEN TO OLD SCHOOL FUNK!!! you wont believe what you find. james brown, trouble funk, parliment. all good. this shit is the precursor to hip hop and lots of other shit. i got into it and into it deep, its the shit. and never gets old. heres a cpl underground goodies to get your interests piqued;) Crown City Rockers-Simple- http://www.sendspace.com/file/ch87ln " " -Disturbing Behaviour- http://www.sendspace.com/file/nmpo4f Acey Alone-Makebalillia(live)- http://www.sendspace.com/file/hip8tt (you'll be sold on the 1st track) |
