It's not that bad, if this was the Prisonplanet forum, we'd both be banned already for critizicing the Admin :-D

Not to speak for anyone but frustration gets to us all, as I'm sure you all know. Sometimes you just have to blow off steam and vent to those that have similar views.

BTW, everyone is banned....including myself. LOL

more apologetics from the usual suspect, hahaha

let off steam, go masturbate Wink
So what did you guys think about the "governor", about TV?

The people who start thinking because of this TV show will soon enough find out how frustrating conspiracy theory can get. How hard it is to back up one's theories, what is info, what is disinfo, how to discern and how to make a solid case. This is a learning process and who is anybody to deny somebody this experience?

On page 108 comes the revelation:

Quote:"At one point I was assigned to take Federal Agents around the site to search for the black boxes from the planes. We were getting ready to go out. My ATV was parked at the top of the stairs at the Brooks Brothers entrance area. We loaded up about a million dollars worth of equipment and strapped it into the ATV. When we got into the ATV to take off, the agent accidentally pushed me forward. The ATV was already in reverse, and my foot went down on the gas pedal. We went down the stairs in reverse. Fortunately, everything was okay. There were a total of four black boxes. We found three."

DeMasi's statement was committed to print in August 2003.

Does anyone have a torrent of this book ?

yeah i was drunk. already apologised. like hans said - free space. no one scared away -board more active again - pushed for theme change too. the show is shit and stinks of co-option - "his team of expert investigators" - do me a fucking favour - it's from the system.

Lol, you found the thread after all, no worries buddy, you do have a point, was just a little too harsh and lacking respect for my liking, goes not only for you, but for the "one-liners" among us, something I too am working on Tongue

So what has the system to gain in your opinion from producing a show with experts on bad acting? Ridiculing people who are into this type of stuff? Turning off system believers from clarifying 911? A plan to mock us? Doesn't producing a show like this or movies like the davinci coed blow up in the system's face? What about Alex Jones, how does he fit in, listened to his show, way too long and quite annoying presentation style... I can imagine his listeners do waste a lot of time if they follow his every word? The starlets of conspiracy theory do seem phony, but for me, getting into all of this through personal experience and not having to rely on these media "shills or not shills" for info I just don't get the "why go to so much trouble?". Anyone care to clarify this for me without blowing up?

I did not get the sense that Ventura was ridiculing or mocking us at all, in fact quite the opposite.

Might I ask how you came to your conclusion ?

Perhaps you did not watch it ? < shrugs >

I watched it and as I posted at the beginning of this thread, I liked it for what it was, a TV show, probably better than a soccer game or whatever is on TV these days. I don't believe Ventura is mocking us, but it seems some people here think he is a tool. Just asking questions and why all the emotional fuss about a media production?

JFK, whats your opinion on it?

I think it should be made into a series so all aspects of the anomolies that fateful day can be made known to the sheeple. :|

Edit to add - the FDR's being found and covered up is so 2003, yet it seems like everyone was surprised.

Thanks, sounds like a good idea, most people I talk to do just seem to repeat what they have heard on TV or Radio, their main source of information, especially the older generation that hasn't come around to using the net.
Anyone else, would like to hear more from those who hated it, specifically why so much?

RE: Jesse Ventura - Trutv - Episode 2 - 9/11
Its just crap. Yeah there are some things being brought up on the show, but nothing that could be considered mind blowing or something that would actually cause a paradigm shift in one's thinking after watching it.
On one hand I can see how newbies to the whole 911insidejobTM, could get excited about it, but after watching it, I can also see how this will just reinforce the mindset of those that believe the official story and already have an issue with "Conspiracy and conspiracy theories".
Ventura even seems to go out of his way to reinforces the whole "schizo/paranoia" meme most sheep project onto people they come to know as "Conspiracy theorists". His comments about the possibility that the super-thermite paint "could be in every highrise building yada yada" That type of sensationalism just doesnt fly with real thinkers. That kind of pettiness will only serve to further marginalize real researchers and truth seekers.
And speaking of real researchers...does anyone really believe that his underlings are a "team of elite researchers"? Phah!! Actors maybe, because if they are actually actors, they are the worst ever. But elite researchers? Not at all, imo. Where did this qualification come from? Did they even graduate high school yet? That was just aweful. And I thought the same thing after the 1st show. Who are these people? And why is Jesse PRETENDING to hear new information from THEM? Unless its all an act...Huh

"Listen to everyone, read everything, believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research"

Thank you Silva, great points, especially the one on the marginalizing. Obviously its all bad acting, guess thats the way TV entertainment works, more drama, than documentary, although he did get all the infos from a guy called alex.

Meh... I am part of that "older generation" at a half century of age...

Turned off the TV when I got my first computer ( if you can call it that ) in the early 1990's... A Tandy HX-1000.

Sorry sorry sorry LOL no intention of generalizing, have many friends in your age group that are into computing, but where I come from many people over 50, edit over 40 Tongue , still are afraid of using computers, a certain technophobia but that is very cool with me if they are not in front of the tele all day. Or as with the younger generation wasting all their time on the internet with gaming. It comes down to how you use or are abused by all the gadgets around
