I'm glad you said that word because it occured to me that it was patently being avoided in the article and don't remember seeing it in the comments either. it was the first word which sprung into my head..one of them..as I'm sure it was in many others' minds and maybe yours too.

I think the fetus eating stuff is made up. I saw articles on this a long time a go that were debunked.
Some artist had made meals out of things that looked like it was fetus parts but was really not, something like that.
Thats just way too disgusting to believe without some hard proof.

I thought the article itself read with an air of authenticity..maybe it's my own cultural prejudices that make me initially think it is possible that it happens. dont know but as said, it has that feel of authenticity to it, I hope you are right and it is fake but i wouldn't be surprised at all if it wasn't fried fish notwithstanding.

The fish thing is real afaik, but its the fetus stuff that I read was not so true. I cant provide the exact thing I saw, it was on another forum I used to go to a couple years ago. But I did a quick search and here were some things I came across.

Fish are sooooooo dumb.

Fish are horribly dumb. The fish in my living room eat each other. They eat each other while they are swimming. If one turns sideways and floats to the top, he gets eaten as well.
I got no pitty for this fish and I hope to eat a whale on a hidden island as well. I bet there's nothing better than a beating whale heart and a good beer.

Japanese Beta fish fight all the time. I had a few in a tank and they messed up each others fins, then learned to cope with each other. Fish learn, just very slowly and with consequence.
