Some payback for a good deed....:(

My friend Mike's mom just called here asking for Mike. I replied he wasn't here and she said that his son (her grandson) just ran away from home with no shoes or jacket on. She's 83 years old and far too frail to chase down an 8 y/o boy, so I told her I'd jump in my car and go looking for him. Thinking the young boy was obviously emotionally distressed since he ran away, I decided to take my dog with me as the two of them are buddies.

I found Mike's son about 6 blocks from my house headed in the opposite direction and I stopped the car to fetch the boy. My dog Jake all gleeful to see his little buddy bolted across the street to greet him and got hit by a car. The dog will live, but he's a little mangled at the moment. :(

I probably should not have written this post, but I feel really pissed off that that is the way life repays a guy for doing a good deed. <_<

Good Post Ctrl, realism pity for your dog, feel for ya bro, shit I let my 2 doggies in this morning as always and the little whore, one of them shit on my bed, fuckers.

I was walking me dogs 2 months ago and little dog crossed the road to bark at them and got run over (dead) in front of my eyes, not a nice thing to happen

I'm gonna turn this around for a moment....

What if your dog was supposed to get hit by a car and die today, like today was his day. Maybe your good deed actually saved your dogs life. Kinda like karma giving back to you through your dog. Maybe it would have happened on a different because of some other random event. I'm probably just too stoned at 4 in the morning, but you never know.

Always nice to know people who care about animals. What's the little guy's name, Ctrl? I was visiting my mother and we saw her neighbor walking her Jack Russell, so my mother says "Oh, there's one of those Jack Daniels dogs.":)

I have 2 ferrets, and they’re absolutely my pride and joy! my oldest, Caesar, has adrenal disease, and it’s getting pretty bad....just found out last week, and we’ll have to put him to sleep pretty soon! it’s totally killin me!
