New research shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may prevent the progression of the disease by preserving levels of an important neurotransmitter that allows the brain to function.

Researchers at the Scripps Research Institute in California found that marijuana’s active ingredient, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, can prevent the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from breaking down more effectively than commercially marketed drugs.

I diagree it's of any help to anybody normally. Purley from experiance of probably smoking pounds of it.

Pot makes you stupid, being creative doesn't mean your smart, I dont care what anybody says or whatever science people pull up. You can make science appear to conclude things, while ignoring other key evidence that overrides your point.

It might help for the actual disease Alzheimers itself maybe from speading, I'll say thats possible. But I still don't think its any good for a normal persons memory or thought process.

Admission of guilt... I dont smoke, not since highschool, and I don't like the high I get from weed... and I detest dry-mouth and paranoia. BUT I love the smell of pot! It's the freshest, most armomatic scent I ever had a whif of. Especially those sticky buds.

Wow that would be a very cool extract for a new PARFUM. Something that would give you that lovely 70's freedom smell. Something that would go well with your long hair and A&F clothing. Like your chick could give you a hug and her pachuli and your mary jane Parfum would intertwine into a wonderfull memory.
