I am sure that SS units moving into villages and so on would have indeed rounded up jews and killed them and took their property, they didn't have to receive orders to do that, the racist tesions and indoctrination would have been enough IMO.

Another think to understand is that people always talk about "the holocaust" as if it were only jews who got sent to camps but first it was communists, gypsies and homosexuals, THEN it was Jews and later all dissenters. So focusing on the Jews is erroneuos since they were just one group of many who recieved that treatment.

Points about the behavior of America and the Allies during the war are very poiniant.

I actually think that today the homosexuals (along with the Jews) are exaggerated victims of the holocaust in our public perception. Remember that in those days homosexuals percentages in population were much lower than now and even bigger share of them were closeted. It is only becouse now they have such a strong lobby and growing nubers in the western world, that they are allways mentioned in the holocaust right in the first group.

I think that a good argument for holocaust scepticism is the motive allies together with Zionist Jews had to exaggerate it. Remember that western powers wanted to see Germany humiliated and on her knees, becouse frankly they have had enough of German aggression. (That's why attempts to make peace with UK by some Germans who tried to kill Hitler would not have worked anyway.) Holocaust was a good way of demonizing their war time enemy (make themselves look good, hide & minimize allied crimes such as Dresden) and shock & shame the Germany people so that they become "peace loving" nation. Also there was a strong motive to inflate and exaggerate percsecution of the Jews by Zionists who wanted support for the creation of their state in Palestine.
