I am so sad, angry, and disgusted. I just don't know what to say.

Please read the comments as well (below the article). People just don't know that income taxes are illegal and the lower courts aren't allowing supreme court rulings (precedent) to be heard.

If you play with fire the tendency is to get burned. I'm no fan of paying income tax myself, but I do pay them.
It's a little easier fighting this fight whilst free than incarcerated. |

The punishment doesn't fit the crime, but they're always out to make an example of anyone who doesn't pay taxes. Likewise, I pay taxes as well, always have, and wont flirt with disaster. I only had to get burned once. I had one garnishment for 400 dolllars as a young man. I made 200 a week roughly at the time and was on my own. I failed to pay what I owed for federal income taxes and the IRS wiped my account out 2-weeks in a row (I lived pay- check to pay check). That was a rough month. It sounds like Kent knew the truth about taxes and tried to fight it. An ignorant jury didn't know any better and he more than likely thought he could pull the jury his way. I would like to see a transcript of the precedings on that note. Man if only one person had watched FFTF I wonder how it would have went down. I know their are many judges now who won't allow the "law" in their court when it comes to these types of cases. That's just friggin wrong. Historically we traded tariffs (jobs) for an illegal income tax and were hoodwinked into paying them. Well my heart still goes out to him and his family. At the very least he tried to stand up to a small part of the equation of tyranny. He may have felt a bit cocky before and during his fight, I don't know. He is extremely bright and I'm sure he thought he could win. It sounded like the how trial was a mockery, a circus....Dr. Dino was being put in his place for the many who don't llke him... I'm no fan of hovind but this is very sad. It's too bad he didnt get the release until sentencing like his wife, he could have escaped the country... I'm sure there are plenty of people that'd help him get out. What strikes me as excedingly strange is that considering how many christians are in this country - how did they get an entire jury - 12 people to ALL convict him, with not a single one holding out on moral principles alone!?
I honestly can't even come to grips with the fact that someone could face a life sentence when they didn't kill or even harm anyone in any way! |

wow ... well maybe now he`ll take the time and pick up the Bible, read it from cover to cover over and over again, and study it bigtime. Maybe now he`ll find the narrow way and will walk on it and eventually will get trully saved. All his works were in vain, they were not done in love. May God open his mind to the truth.
