Have You Guys Done Any Adventuring?

I'm wondering if you guys have intentionally done any exploration for underground access points, or gotten in one, or would like to try. I've read accounts of people finding underground bases through the sewer system. I've been thinking about it for a long time now. Although I'm convinced in these malevolent Reptilians/Grays et cetera, I would really like to see some stuff that I'm not supposed to see.

I'm in the Reno area. I would like to check out the 4 corners region, like Dulce. Maybe there's some shit near or in Reno. Pyramid lake --20 miles N of Reno-- is rumored to be "bottomless." Get this: people mysteriously disappear there all the time, according to my friend who does not read about conspiracies. I remember driving out there at night, and my 2 dogs were barking at seemingly nothing. I was too scared to leave the car. There is an eerie quality about that place, and I would not want to be there alone.

Anyone in the Reno area want to do some exploration?

Not too long ago, a friend was telling me about underground things going on in Nevada. Apparently the caverns go all the way up into Alaska. Supposedly they hold many people and creatures of mythical proportions... She said to read the following book for more information... Rolling Thunder Speaks : A message for Turtle Island.

I've only just begun reading the book so I haven't reached the part where Rolling Thunder talks about this stuff. Perhaps you might want to read it if you haven't already.

Weird... I was just scanning ahead thru a portion of the book while typing this post.. it says... "Once a young man from Germany had a Volkswagen full of people with him, and he was on the way to an island in Pyramid Lake. That island is guarded by the spirits of warriors gone on and also by millions of snakes and something else that lives in the water. Nobody belongs in a place like that. But some people will go anywhere because they are pushy and they think they have some kind of immunity. I warned him because he was a very nice, well-mannered young man. He went anyway, and they found his body washed up on the shore of the island. I told the other young people who came back and were feeling bad that the Indian world or the spiritual world is different and can be very dangerous."

I guess he really was on his way to that island. :err:

I live near Montauk and Camp Hero. I am trying to get some friends together to take a trip out there to get some pictures either at the beginning of next year or after the winter, depending on how the weather is.

They went to that island by boat, right? Jeez, this is getting creepier and more interesting by the day. I definitely would like to do some exploration, but not alone.

The Water Babies.

Now here's a tale that I've been mocked about endlessly, but the mockers are my good church friends - so it's all good. Scott Jones in particular, laughs and jokes about this story all the time. Maybe I shouldn't have told him about it. I guess the sound of it - "Water Babies" - invokes the giggle beast in him and he can't help himself.

Here it goes... When I was in Basic Training in the Army, there was a guy in my platoon named Cypher. He was a full-blooded Indian. (He probably still is, too). I can't remember which tribe he was from, but he said he lived on the Indian reservation around Pyramid Lake in Nevada. This particular lake is widely known in various UFO and paranormal books for being a popular spot for UFO sightings. People claim UFOs fly in and out of the lake. Pyramid Lake has a nick name relative to the Bermuda Triangle, but I can't remember that nick name right off hand. Anyway...

Late one night during guard duty while I was on fire watch, I heard Cypher and the guy in the bunk next to him quietly talking. The term "Water Babies" jumped out into my ears, and I couldn't resist. Who could?

Cypher was in a prolonged discussion about the various things he'd experienced in his childhood. Like Jack, "My best friend Jack", Cypher's childhood included memories from his culture that the typical Western mind would never conceive of. The nightmarish experience of the water babies was among his most terrifying memories.

He said that his parents always warned him and his friends never to play outside after dark. Like idiots, they were out in the woods playing, and it started to get dark. The oldest of the children didn't care. "You don't actually believe any of that crap, do you?" he exclaimed. He was referring to his tribe's countless stories of demons that roamed the woods at night.

Cypher and his friends were getting scared. "Well you can stay out if you want, but we're going back." They left their older friend behind, and proceeded to go back home. As soon as they were out of sight of their friend, they heard a horrible scream. They quickly ran back, but their friend was nowhere to be found. Instead, there was a pool of blood and some drag marks on the ground. Something apparently grabbed this child and dragged him off.

The group of children panicked and ran back to their village. In a matter of minutes, a large gathering of men were formed up with their knives, shotguns, and flashlights. The children led them to the place where they were playing, and they found the bloody trail left behind. They tracked down the child that was missing, hoping he was still alive, and eventually found him. He was found laying on top of his grandfather's grave in the cemetery. He was cut all over his body, and in a state of complete shock. I think Cypher said this child became mute, never speaking a single word again. The elders of his village said that this was the work of the water babies. There was an Indian word for them, but the English translation is 'Water Babies'; which kind of strips away all the dread. The water babies were apparently demonic baby-looking demons that lived in Pyramid Lake. They preyed on children in particular, if the children were left alone after dark. They also attacked boats in the lake during the night, so none of the Indians went out on the lake after dark.

Cypher also spoke of woodland beings that looked exactly like human beings, but they were only 4 to 5 inches tall. He had an Indian name for those too, but again, I can't remember. Ancient European legends also speak of tiny human beings, giving them various titles, such as Brownies, Pixies, Fairies, etc. Cypher said his mother would periodically put food out for them in order to stay on good terms with them. He never saw them himself, but he'd always see their footprints. Every morning after his mother would leave food out overnight, Cypher would find tiny human footprints all over the ground where the raw meat had been chained to a tree.

Cypher had stories about his village shaman, as well. He spoke with reverent fear about the magic they used. This was the only night I ever heard Cypher speak of these wild tales. Other than this particular occasion, nobody would ever guess Cypher had such a peculiar childhood history. He was one of the most hardcore guys in our platoon, and he did things that we could all respect. You'd never believe it to look at him, because he was at least 40 to 50 pounds over weight, but that guy could run like a jack rabbit and do pushups all day long! The drill sergeants constantly tried to break him down, but he thought they were a big joke. He didn't have any fear of anything, (except for maybe the water babies!) The one time we were allowed to go to the Post Exchange in order to buy supplies such as shoe polish and tooth paste, Cypher snuck into the clothing and sales department and purchased himself some E-4 rank pins. We were told not to buy anything except required items, and were warned that we would be inspected when we returned. All through Basic training nobody was allowed to eat ANYTHING with sugar in it. Cypher didn't agree. I heard the rumor that he managed to sneak out of the barracks, and put those rank pins he purchased to good use! He pinned them on his collar and off he went, free as a bird, from the Post Exchange to the movies, to dining out - the works. I thought the guy that bought a bag of M&M's and hid them inside his canteen was pretty slick, but Cypher was unbelievable! In Basic training, all the newbies are either E-1 or E-2, but never E-4. The rank he purchased was just high enough to be passed off as a permanent duty member of that base, rather than someone in Basic training. People don't generally question your rank, either, because pinning on a high rank is simply something that isn't done! He probably would've gotten kicked out if he were caught. (Either that or promoted!)

Cypher also knew all there was to know about living in the wild. He told us that since he was 11 years old, his parents would drop him off out in the middle of the forest with just a knife, and leave him out there for weeks at a time. (I guessed they knew the spots where the water babies didn't go, or figured a knife was good enough!) Cypher said this was the way of their people, who he was emphatically proud of. The last I heard about Cypher was that he joined the Special Forces. Good old Cypher. I'll never forget him.

I don't know if they went out on a boat. What I typed is the only information on that particular story in the book I have.

Interesting stuff about Cypher! As for going to investigate Pyramid Lake, have fun, I wish you luck! :shocked: :tongue:

I live in Reno NV, I like to explore this area, I hear lots of things, yes, so time to go find out for myself, Vampires cult, cults out in the desert, possible satanist, ghost, sun valley walker.etc I warn you though, maybe your not alive anymore, but never take these things to lightly lol, I have heard some really werid things from many people, one whome I kind of knew went missing out there.

I love Rolling Thunder! I've read the other book, I believe just called "Rolling Thunder". Its an amazing read. I've been meaning to read the turtle island one for a while now.

i'm new to this website.i actually only signed on to it because of this topic. i'll tell you why.
i live in yht spanish springs area in nevada,thats about 20 to 30 minutes away from pyramid lake.this past summer we had a family reunion and ended up going to pyramid.its was going great until one of the worst things happened...one of my family members drowned in the pelican point.he was 28 years old was a different kind of indian and i think that has to do with why he dround.tell me if this is a legit on how and where he drowned....five or four feet of water a few feet away from shore and 20 plus people wer looking for him and he wasnt found until 4 hours later?that sounds a little weird to me.well anyway whiile the search was going on, some of my family member said that an old indian lady, dressed in the ancient indian appearl appeared out of nowhere and told them exactly where he was gonna be found.she started telling them all this weird mumbo jumbo about him and told them my uncle was gonna come back for one more person. A couple of weeks later my cousins husband got a seizure and said that her husband saw the elderly lady and was saying she was going to take someone soon....anyway back to my uncle, when i went to his viewing i felt this weird feeling like it wasnt his time to go.the expression on his face said a story but i dont know what it was.weird thing is that he some how got all these bruises and scratches on his face and we have no clue why.....i know this sound mystical and weird but i think it has something to do with the water babies theories. i keep having dreams about it...that lake haunts me...i'm not kidding...
i'm just a regular 18 year old high school student, a cheerleader, i work at target, i'm a girl friend and i'm a sister. I'm not a freak and i'm deffenately not making this up..
i would like your imput on this.i want to get to the bottom of this.ever since then i cant even look towards the mountains where pyramid is at...i want to know why...so if anyone has something for me i'll listen

My friends and I did some amateur cave exploring in high school. Out in the woods and hills of TN there are all kinds of unmapped (to my knowledge) caves, caverns and underground streams. I've never done it for any specific purpose but there probably aren't any secret underground bases here. We just wanted to see where they went.
